Default can i take a bath?

is it a bad idea? it's been a month tuesday since my BA. my incisions arent healed all the way though. well, only one of them.

i dont want to have to sit up so they dont get wet, either, bc that wont be relaxing.

can i put a bandaid over it maybe? or will that not help? i dont want to get an infection.

(oh, and i dont mean a regular bath.. i wanna use lush)

Bandaids will just trap suds and lush and keep it really moist. I wouldn't do that.

I took a bath and my incisions were in the water every once in a while and I had no problem. I don't know about lush, I would probably do it though.

I took a lush bath 2 weeks post op. I've had no problems. I, however, have different incisions and never had exposed sutures. You know what mine look like, so as you can tell it was probably easier keeping them out of the water.
The hardest part for me was getting out of the bath. It depends on what your pain level and threshold are at this point. I say go for it if you feel like you could get out!

I am no doc, but I am assuming that if they are "closed" then you should be ok. Just make sure to rinse them a lot.

I took a shower (and I had a benelli lift which is when they cut your entire aerola off and put them back on) and they were ok with all the soap on them.

Just make sure that when you are about to get out, you rinse them off nicely.

Then you can pat them dry, and then use a blow dryer (on cool) to make sure they are super dry and that no moisture is trapped anywhere.

The perfumes and dyes in the LUSH products can potentially irritate your wounds.
I would use a very mild soap, with no perfumes or dyes. Just what I would do
to be uber cautious. Happy bathing!

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
