"Lap Dance Lou", or as he liked his dancers to call him "Daddy", finally had his run in with the lady who levels all playing fields.
The proprietor of "Hot Lap Dance" was well known in our small circle as a man who used the ownership of his underground lap dance club to take advantage of dancers and customers alike. He was considered generally seedy and a low life. Not at all a square dealer. He forced dancers by duress to participate in both free and bareback sexual activities with himself and "special" clients of his choosing, among other creepy and seriously malicious bits of business.
He will face 10-15 for money laundering, the most serious of the multiple charges that will be filed against him. He will lose his homes, cars and assorted trinkets to the IRS on unpaid taxes and forfeiture of criminal assets. His wife, his partner in all this, will probably turn state's evidence and divorce him. His license to practice law is most assuredly toast.
A man who has given management in the underground party scene in NYC a bad name and an equally bad rep to live down. He will NOT be missed.
Once again Lady Karma has the last word.
