    Default New T3 Dryer - Pro line - $119

New T3 PRO collection. - It was just released (well, April..I just caught up!) and everything in it is all pink, like the GHDs. All the T3 Pro products cost $119 each. A blog compared the new T3 Pro Blowdryer to the evolution and found them identical for results too. If you don't care about the 2 year warrnaty, QVC has it for $108 with like $50 of other free T3 stuff.

It's at Ulta and Sephora for $119; free ship at Ulta.

    Blog that compared the two:

If you don't mind not having a warranty, this place has the Bespoke T3 on sale for $139.95 and free ship..

Just thought I'd post in case anyone else is looking..I'm getting myself a b-day present this weekend!!

This might be a dumb question, but what makes one blow dryer better than another one? Don't they all do the same thing -- blow hot air? What I mean is, how is the fancy pink blow dryer better than my Conair that I bought at CVS for $10?

I noticed that the hairdryers I used at the salon are stronger and blow better than the cheaper ones I previously owned.

I dont know how to explain it but:

The cheap ones seemed to blow an "open" amount of air on my hair.
The more expensive (or better brands) seemed to hit the hair more directly - like a straight stream..

I dont know if that makes any sense. lol

Features, technology, and power. Better hairdryers will have multiple heat and speed settings that operate independently of one another. You can also get ceramic coated barrels (consistant heat), ionic generators (controls frizz & adds shine), and featherlight construction (lighter weight creates less strain on shoulders and wrists). I find that most professional dryers (except for Chi) have more power... Anything less than 1800 watts and a blowdry will take forever, especially for those with thick, coarse and curly hair. They also tend to come with warranties.

Here's my deal with T3... from my understanding, tourmaline will only produce negative ions if it comes into direct contact with the hair. In other words, you're more likely to get ionic benefits from using a round brush with a tourmaline infused barrel or bristles than a hairdryer.
