So if they stop eating soy will their sperm count go back up? I'm not trying to make my bf sterile dammit, I just don't want him to eat meat

So, can I feed my bf high concentrations of soy and get off of BC? Ok, in all seriousness... I'm sure obese men have low sperm counts for other reasons than soy... Isn't it funny how a nonconclusive study could trigger an article?

I would assume so... just like going off of birth control would make YOU fertile again. But, they didn't find anything with that study and they keep talking about obese men... which don't exactly represent the entire population (yet, haha). I wouldn't worry.

I wouldn't be surprised if funding came from people that had an interest in seeing people buy less soy, like the dairy or beef industry.

Study: Fat Men Have Bad Sperm
In research presented Wednesday at a meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, scientists found that obese men have worse sperm than normal-weight men.
Actually, it seems like the research is going in favor of meat contributing to general infertility moreso than veg foods...

    Conclusion
Replacing animal sources of protein with vegetable sources of protein may reduce ovulatory infertility risk.
