    Default Regretting your tattoos

Ok, hopefully this isn't already a thread that I overlooked. How many of you have tattoos that you regret having now? I have one on the side of stomach that says, of course, Miss Nicole. My middle name is Nicole and my dad gave me that nickname when I was little. I got it 3 years ago. At first I thought it was cute, but now I hate it.

I still go by Nicole as my stage name because I can't change it and I have the shit on me for life. I want to change my stage name so bad but then it will confuse people. And so far thats my only one for now. I just wish I wouldn't have paid $50 to get two words tattooed on me. Everytime I look at it I get super annoyed.

Lol...Ms ponytail...WTF is that? Well besides me wanting to change my name, I just feel like I'm outgrowing it. Since I'm wayyy more mature now, I just can't imagine myself when I'm 60 years old with a Miss Nicole tattoo on my stomach.

lol golden...cola?... I actually like that name.

Maybe you could think about a cover up?
If that's not an option for you then maybe you can make up a story saying you and your bff got you names tatted on each other.

if you want to change your name, you could 1)tell custies its your kids name or 2) tell them its the name of a lover you had

I had an ex's name on me. It actually wasn't that big of a deal when we broke up I just had it covered up with more ink.

So I've got a cluster fuck of butterflies on my lower back. I don't like them, though. I get asked about it constantly at work.

    Post pics!

Personally, I love my tattoos. They don't have any majorly significant meaning other than I love them and wanted sparrows and stars tattooed on me so I did it

I have 3 small ones total. There is one that I don't really like. But it doesn't say anything. The one I LOVE, and the third I'm kinda "meh" about.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE CC tatoo. The girl going up the staircase of books. I would DIE for that tatoo.

Oh yeah...the ass tats. I wanted one SOOO bad not too long ago. I think ass tats are ok as long as the tattoo isn't too out there.

Have you ever seen the girls that have the butterfly tattoo on their ass? With one half of the butterfly on one ass cheek and the other half on the other cheek. And when they make their ass clap its look like the butterfly is flying...God that is SOOO tacky IMO. No disrespect to anyone who has one though.

And thanks. Its just a really simple tattoo. I want to get it covered up but I know that the tattoo will be much bigger because of the space between Miss and Nicole.

If you find a good enough artist you'll be able to do a cover up of the tattoo, it's not that big. Just remember, no names!

sometimes I regret my tattoo, but only because of the color. I have a red-orange lotus flower with vines and really nicely shaded blue-green leaves curled up my side over my hipbone. I get a TON of compliments on it, everywhere I go, I get strangers wanting to take pictures of it when i go to the beach.. I love it. The only thing I don't like is that I always feel like I need to match my outfits to it, at work I either wear black, white or red. It's very rare I wear any color other than those- and if I do, it's a dress that covers my stomach so it doesn't "clash". Same with bikinis, I don't wear any colors other than black white or red... or gold.. haha. I guess I could also wear blue/green because of the leaves. I kind of wish I just got black and white sometimes, but the lotus wouldn't be as realistic and 3d looking.

I plan on getting more, but only black sanskit script.

I have 2 really stupid tattoo's that I totally regret. I got one when I was 19 the other when I was 20 I think.

I have a bubblegum pink playboy bunny on the inside of my right wrist. I'm so embarrassed of it. I got it before Girl's next Door was on or anything...it's was so impulsive too. I had a few vintage playboys that I was looking through one and I randomly decided it would be a cute idea to get the old school rabbit tattooed on me. so off I go down the street to the tattoo parlor where had it put on my wrist. All within 2 hours of having that brilliant idea.
I want to get it covered so bad but I don't want to go through the pain again.
It sucks because I have to look at the stupid thing everyday. Oh well, at least it's pink.

The other one is a stupid boring butterfly that I got after my boyfriend broke up with me. Once again, it was one of my impulsive decisions and I didn't plan it out. That one hurt sooo bad because it's on my spine in the typical tramp stamp area. I hate it so much because it's so not my personality and it has no meaning. I can't wait to get that one covered up with something much more original and with some sort of personal meaning.

I got it 2 years ago... I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I went by myself and did it all in one sitting. the artist estimated it would take 6 hours, but I was super still and he works quickly and precisely and I *think* it took about 4 1/2 hours. I took 2 breaks, just to pee and stretch.. haha. People who see it still think it's brand new! I want to get it touched up though, i have a couple specks of pigment loss from healing where it rubbed against the waistband of my pants.
