I'm being bad and working on a bottle of wine... I feel guilty. If I could finish putting away all of my laundry, I'd probably feel better about myself. *looks over at the laundry*

Also, I think if I watch a movie I'll only watch one I've watched before (I've narrowed it down to the Prestige or Children of Men). Hmmm

i'm freaking pissed off that salmonella is on everything I want to eat... lettuce, peppers, parsley, cilantro, tomatoes... wtF??? I'm trying to eat all raw and now i have to be paranoid about getting a disease caused by factory farming cows!!

Huh? I thought that only one vegetable, from one source, has been found to have the same genetic match as the salmonella -- jalapeno peppers. It's only been found definitely in one producer's peppers. That's all they know for sure, but I haven't read any news stories about the lettuce, and tomatoes have been discounted.

eh- idk.. at my store we have a notice up that lists lettuce, cilantro, parsley tomatoes and peppers as possibly being contaminated.

could I sue a factory farm if I get salmonella and can trace it back there?? b/c that might be worth it.... college tuition.

Also, just so you know, you have to actually get poked and blood drawn to get officially diagnosed... my boyfriend got salmonella and they didn't diagnose it for a few days... Since they didn't get a stool sample, they couldn't officially report it to the CDC. So there have probably been tons more cases then the ones diagnosed...

i just read an article released to day, officially tracing it back to jalapenos- you were right..... but i'm still paranoid.

    ^^^ I fail too...
    I ate pizza
    9 hours...probably down the drain
Does it count though if it's thin crust and wheat?

I just checked the box. 1/2 the pizza is almost 600 calories. FUCK!
At least I burned 1600 yesterday.
How does that fucking work anyways. I need to talk to my nutrionist anyways.

which string did you break on your guitar?
last acoustic string change I went with silk n steels; very soft string; very light; sparkling sound; not as loud or percussive as brass/bronze

wines, cantaloupes, salmonella, movie reruns ... I think I'm getting headaches from eating shrimp ...happened a couple of times now

and one last thing: you ever see a nature program where ants kidnap some sort of larva and then feed it drugs and the poor larva becomes like a honey cow ... freaking ants ... I hope this headache goes away soon

Ironically, federal health authorities were warning people in 2006 to be careful handling pet treats in the wake of a series of human salmonella infections linked with treats made from raw salmon and beef.

Kinda kooky when you consider that salmonella is actually named for Daniel E. Salmon, the American veterinary pathologist who discovered it...
