    Way cool.

Percussion here. My senior year our marching band was SO small(only 15 people!) that there were only two of us who played drums and we just played sets on the sidelines for games.
I preferred competitions to games though...they were so much fun!! Sneaking alcohol onto the bus, sneaking away to have sex with your boyfriend in the empty bus when you were off field...the Mean Girls reference to "sexually active band geeks" was DEAD ON!! We were such little sluts!!

Carpel tunnel stopped me from playing past high school though.boo.

And we never played Disney crap either. We played cool stuff AND we wrote our own cadences!!

Though...no marching band would be complete without playing Oye Como Va!

My god, I did that too, especially on overnight trips (a few of us made the local colleges Honor band while we were seniors). Used a hair spray bottle I had cleaned out really well, so they wouldn't find it. They checked our bags and never noticed a thing, they even sniffed the bottle and didn't find it.

Trumpet in junior high, turned into more of a theatre geek in high school. I still have my trumpet in my closet. I pulled it out a few months ago, and all the slides and valves on it are stuck in place. I suppose I'd have to take it to a music shop for a much-needed "tune-up" or something. I played piano for years as a wee lad and can still pick out a tune. I have a guitar but am admittedly pretty horrible. Didn't everyone have a recorder at some point?

How about the "bone-a-phone" or the "pink harmonica"?

Percussion here as well!!! I was the first girl to play the drums in the band at our school. This was concert band, but I gave it up before high school because I played sports year round.

I can play credibly almost any brasswind instrument, except tuba and trombone. I played then (and marched) and I still play a lot, but I don't like to march anymore.

Brasswinds include: bugle, trumpet, cornet, fluegelhorn, french horn, (mellophone-yukk), alto horn, tenor horn, baritone horn, euphonium, trombone, tuba, and all sorts of variants of the above. (They do not include saxophone.)

And, sorry, I think most highschool marching bands anymore are lame. Concert bands (military style here or brassband style as in Britain) and orchestras are my thing now.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Anybody play low reeds? We have a need for more players in that section.

Or "Boners", or when I was younger my friends called me the "Sexophonist"

You have no idea how many times I've heard these as a saxophonist/trombonist.....

Complexity is ok; it's the impossibility that throws me.

I played flute, piccolo, and percussion (pit) in marching band. I was also drum major. And played piano in jazz band. I'm down!

(ps...are we gonna wear stripper approved marching band costumes?? )

I just realized that, if SW were a marching band... and we were parading, I'd be at the back of the procession, sweeping up llama poo... trying to keep Mojo from flinging it.

I played piccolo and flute for like 12 years including marching in high school and college.

I don't really miss it but I do enjoy the hell out of watching DCI competitions. Sometimes they show the semi finals at a local movie theater and it's always packed with super geeks like me.

In the order that I picked them up:

    Piano, recorder, viola, clarinet,
    vibraphones/marimbas/glockenspiel/bells, concert percussion,
cymbals, bass drum, bass guitar, snare drum.

I guess I'm best at piano and mallet percussion.. so we'll pick that. The other stuff I haven't touched in a while.
I can play the jaw-harp too but i don't think we can march with it, unless we mic it hahah

Piano and keyboards. Walked into a restaurant called Cats in New Orleans and got a gig for a month while travelling way back in the early 90's. Have not been back to Louisiana since then. They used to have this really cool Brass Band which walked the streets back then.

Wonder if the restaurant or Brass Band are still around.
