So I got my nose job here in San Jose, Costa Rica a few days ago. I am sitting here in my friends house with nothing else to do except watch tv and read stripperweb. My Doctor was Miguel Alfaro and I had heard wonderful things about him from some friends down here but they had all had like tummy tucks and such no rhinoplastys. Considering that it is pretty well known that doctors in latin america can be very good at body work if you find a qualified doctor (butt fat transfers were invented in Brazil) and the prices are very much cheaper in then in the states I had considered this for a while but had never heard anything about facial plastic surgery in latin america. I knew Dr Alfaro would be a qualified doctor and not a quack when i found as being one of only three plastic surgeons in Costa Rica that are part of blue cross blue shield. My surgery was done at hospital Cima which is the newest and nicest hospital in Costa Rica. He used local anesticia because I didn't need any bones broken and it was nice because I didn't have to deal with the ricks/after effects of general anesticia and it made the whole thing cost almost 1000 dollars cheaper. anyway if anyone has any questions about PS in costa Rica I will be happy to tell you what I don't (don't go to the Rosenstock-Liberman clinic).
Also to anyone who has had a rhinoplasty, how long did you have to wait before you could excersize again? any rapid recovery tips?
