It's the first! Time to get crackin' on your August goals. We can do this!
1st August - 31st August Goals
1. Get into herbs and cooking healthy food, also be sensible and only eat when hungry.
2. Keep running outside for an hour a day, combine with toning exercises and start two dance classes weekly.
3. Put Hustle Hut into action, take all that money I'm entitled to and BANK!
4. Check out a 7th Heaven in Glasgow.
5. See some shows at the Festival and catch up with friends.
6. Keep my tan topped up.
7. Put shelves up in room, organize my shit!
8. READ and STRETCH!
9. Take vitamins and fruit/joghurt for breakfast every day.
10. Try to drink a lot less at work.
Phew, I feel better now.
Yay for goals. Wish all you ladies love and luck for August!

Hell yeah ladies, those are some good goals! I wish the best of luck to all of you!
As for me,
1. Work 4 nights a week (except next week, I'm goin to the Midwest Reggae Fest!)
2. Stop wasting time on "nice" guys with no money at the club
3. Realize my potential to be a top earner and DO IT
4. Eat healthy, work out more and lose 5-8 lbs.
5. Fix car
6. Be grateful for every day and everything I have![]()
I like this one alot! I think this will be on my list as well!!
It's been great reading everyones lists of goals. Sometimes I feel bad for being behind in housework or in reading books but to see so many of us with similar goals helps me feel better about not always being on top of everything.![]()

I worked 4 days in a row this week! In addition to 10k , i wanna work 5 days every week taking off only mon and saturdays for the rest of the month.
1. Buy linoleum and plywood so I can put up my X-Pole with minimum damage to the apartment.
2. Put up X-Pole
3. Work 4 days a week for 3200 this month (I'm out for a week). That's a really low estimate of my minimum goals per shift, but business is still suffering so I don't want to be too ambitious. However, anything beyond 2100 puts me into savings for the next month, which means I'll finally be saving for AUGUST rather than the month before. For me, being on-schedule with my saving means having a month and a half's worth of financial "padding". Plus, once I catch up for august I can start throwing money into my "big" savings account and Roth Savings account.
4. Go in every shift, or make up for skipped shifts. I learned my lesson on thursday, and I'm not going to keep missing out on money because I "don't feel like it." Fuck, in a normal job you go in whether you want to or not. I have to get back into normal work-world attitude.
5. Become a volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages.
6. Find part-time job or, better yet, unpaid internship! (More valuable for my resume in the long run).
7. Open a SEP retirement account. The Roth is fine, but I want to cover my bases.
8. Find two more bookshelves. I'm desperate. My office has no floor-room because of all the homeless books
9. Start climbing at REI with my friend once a week, to further develop my upper body strength.
10. Earn enough to take boy and a couple friends to a nice dinner. My friend is going back to Brown at the end of August, and I want to treat her and her boyfriend to something nice.
Edit: 11. Fix my car!!!
What I've found very helpful is to write down what I make on a calender. It's helped me figure out what days work best for me (and when I make money because of luck). I write down what I made, and anything notable (200 from a woman, 300 from guy with glasses, name is Chris, etc) so that I can establish a pattern.
I also save everything in envelopes dedicated to specific things (Rent, Tuition, IRA, Dogs, Meds, Food, House, etc) and write how much I put into the envelope and when (+180, 5/22/0and how much I take out (-130, groceries, 5/29/0
. It really helps me keep track of how much I spend on EACH THING, and whether or not I should be saving up more each month for my dogs, or gas, etc. I also label what each "withdrawal" was for, so I can't lie to myself if I blow a lot of my "dogs" budget on toys they don't really need.
Most of my money ends up in the bank, but the envelopes really help me stay honest with a cash income. WellsFargo lets you open as many savings accounts as you want, and I have one for IRA savings and one for General savings. Once I'm back on track I'm opening another one for tuition.

-Work 3-4 shifts a week.
-DON'T beat myself up for a slow shift, since it is August.
-BUT-become a shark. Each shift, more sharkiness. No fear.
-Save two months rent ($1060).
-Get a treadmill and keep up the schedule of fitness.
-Work from home days I am not at the club. At least $10 a day.
-Continue to throw stuff out!

On August 11 I will buy a gym membership (they go up half price that day) and do cardio 6 days a week, weight training 3 days.
Pay off my credit card debt by the end of the month ($530 left!)
Work two days on, one day off whenever possible.

For August:
1. Keep cool. Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day.
2. Do all my laundry, organize my clothes and stripper gear and get rid of things I don't need.
3. Study like it's my full-time job. I am thinking I need to spend at least 7 hours daily studying and memorizing. I need to get my brain back in shape. I need to study for the GRE, the LSAT and for my other job, which makes me constantly need to learn. I have to remember that this month, studying will be my job.
4. Finish my application to the grad school of my choice. Talk to an advisor about my options.
5. Complete the work at home opportunity aviendha posted about.
6. In my free time, reading the books that I have that I haven't read yet, and get up to date on the magazines I've neglected.
7. Try to do at least 10 shifts, making at least $300 per shift, managing to make $3000.
8. Be extremely frugal. Contact my creditors and work out plans to pay my bills.
Also, the absolutely necessary health stuff:
1. Get my teeth cleaned and cavities filled if necessary (been avoiding this too long)
2. Weekly massage
3. Get a new eye prescription and buy glasses
And, to think ahead for September:
1. In September I'm going to audition at all the clubs that I have been too chicken to go to. I'm also going to sign up with the private party agencies in town and also make my own business cards for my own bachelor parties.
2. In September I am going to get my own apartment or house, hell or high water. I want this done by October!

I could only work from 415pm-930pm last night because of my school work and other job in the morning (I literally showered and changed the instant I got home from the dayjob and went to the club).
I made $685! It's usually such a crap time. I'm on my way! I'm so addicted to money right now, lol.

Congrats, Molly! Great start to August
I have my thesis due Aug 8th and I worked last night but I'm not working again till it's handed. After that I want to work almost every day. Like 4-5 days a week and pay off my Mastercard. It's a huge goals (for me) but I think I can do it. If I can't, I will at least make a huge dent.

Thanks, TM!
Alright ladies, I figured it out. If I make $300/day from August 9th-31st my credit cards will be paid off. $300/day doesn't sound like much but it does doing it 23 days in a row LOL!
But nonetheless, I want to do it. Here are my goals:
1. Aug 9th-31st, make $300/day and never fall behind.
2. Stop obsessing about your hourly average and hustling non-stop because you will get burn-out working every day. Instead, focus on how much money you take home and take breaks when needed. Don’t be afraid to go in during the slow shifts.
3. Sell 10 articles of used clothing (mainly panties or stockings for foot fetish guys). This means less dancing.
4. PAY OFF BOTH CREDIT CARDS!!!

^^Dude, that is awsome. You've got the right picture. Do the shifts that work for you, and remember that ANY time of day can be a goldmine. When I get back from NYC, I'll probably be working everyday too, until school starts again in September.
YOU CAN DO IT!! wheeee! lol

Thanks, Molly! Wanna be accountabilabuddies? LOL (reference to Southpark).

I've never posted in a goal's thread, either but here goes:
* Get to PDX by Thursday night and audition at 205 to schedule for following week. Also suppliment shifts at Cabaret.
* Work first nine days & make $300- $500 per day/shift.
* Continue NOT to drink during the week & only on weekends!
* Find a cheap or very free gym to do cardio/ weights at least 3 times a week while in PDX.
* Pay for fall term from PDX.
* Make time for a sit-down with my lawyer & draft my settlement demands.
* Work last six days in town & make $300- $500 per day/shift.
* Fly out Sunday
* Start school Monday August 25!
