I want to glue some rhinestones to the heel of some clear shoes. What sort of glue should I use? I dont want the glue to show all over the shoes and im not sure what will make it stick to the plastic heel?

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

some good info here
There are clear expoxy options too. They bond plastics, ceramic, metal, wood and glass... You have the option of drying/setting times too. As low as 1 minute or as high as an hour. You can get them from home depot or any hardware store.
I use them to bond my sculptures together and have used them to adhere rhinestones to the surfaces of my sculpture as well. Works perfectly and dries clear.
what you super glue?

i use the glue that comes with fake nails(by revlon), it works for everything way better than any specialty glues weve ever bought and it's clear.

awesome thanks for the suggestions. i hope i can glue them in a straight line down the heel, i have such a shaky hand haha.

^^For a straight line, I would tape down a piece of cardboard as a guide. Tape it so the edge is exactly parallel next to the line you want to create in stones. This way there is a raised edge to push the stones against and you wont have to worry about a shaky hand!

^^
seriously thank-u i never would have thought of that. I was a very bad art student LOL.

No problemI learned to be quite resourceful as a broke art student!
I like E6000 glue the best for that stuff, but I might try some gorilla glue for a heel that just came off (after I'd E6000 it.) But it works great for rhinestones and sequins on clothes because it's machine washable and doesn't come off.

I use e6000 too.

I've used nail glue before.![]()
