We're fortunate at my club in that there are video cameras so if some girl managed to break my lock and get at my money, then we will have video surveillance.

Some people complain about the cameras all around my club but I love them. They are monitored by the doorman and it makes me feel so much safer.

I've never lost money/had it stolen. I put the biggest bill I have on the outside, always have. Men are competitive by nature. Lol!!

    Greetings everyone,

I always try to wear two garters while working, the right side has the big bill(s) on the outside with the smaller bills inside, held together by a rubber band in a neat fashion. If I do not have enough high bills, I add a few ones on the inside to make it look nice. High bills always get put into that side in a neat fashion. The other side has all my ones and some fives, also held together by a rubber band. I use the side with the ones to give change for single dances and to also tip - out the staff, pay VIP room fees and for other such uses. On the left side I also take single dollar tips, from stage, from those who do not want dances, etc.

I have been told that large bills on the outside get yanked or lost, even by the house - mom, but in all my years of dancing it never has. (I do not drink and keep track of it well during the day) Yet what I have noticed is that customers do notice the money I already made and naturally want to give me more of it. This includes on stage as on the floor as via dances. I also never bring money in from home, this tends to confuse me.

In VIP I take my garters and the money off (putting it in a safe place) and focus exclusively on the guy.

According to the DJs and most of the girls I work with I am one of the high earners of my club many days.

I almost can't stand to wear a garter most of the time. It could be because the one i have sucks. perhaps if i invested in a better one, i'd be more interested in keeping my money there. i sorta feel like it's tacky though. not many girls i work with do this.

someone said earlier that they keep their big bills in a pocket on the inside of their purse, and ones inside the main part. this is the same thing i do, and every time i have enough ones, i count them into stacks of twenties, and move them to the small pocket. helps me keep track of exactly how much i have and i'm very, very good at never leaving my purse anywhere.

hmm, what's this making change thing? i always act like i don't have change and i guess they'll just have to give me all the money.

^^^ my dances are $30, so alot of the time (when paid two $20s) I'll say, is this my tip or do you want change? Usually I'll get the tip. BUT if I don't and they insist on change, I'm not trying to spend an eternity at the bar trying to get the bartenders attention for $10 freakin' bucks. Argh.

I tried this today for the first time instead of carrying my pocket book w my money in it or putting my money in my locker and I made way more then I ever made on a tuesday.

maybe it was just coincidence or maybe it was the money showing

At this club (south carolina), we have option of lap dances (1 song) or 1/2 hour vip room. Club prices are minimum $20 and $200 respectively. My prices (and most girls) are $30 and $300. Or $40 and $400 when it's busy. I refuse to go with a customer I don't know to vip, so I rarely do vip. I used to average $30 to $100 in stage tips (I recently started opting out of stage). It's no problem to sell $30 dances because thats the norm in this club/ area. My goal is to sell five dances per hour per six hour shift. $30 x 5 x 6 = $900. Easy as pie when it's busy but it's a freaking ghost town right now.

I didnt read the whole thread but I tend to make the most when I keep my money on my garter(even though I hate garters) with a 20 on the outside.. but I keep my big bills on my ankle with a few ones outside for safe keeping

If you don't seem to need their money, some just won't spend... but others are intrigued.
See I don't get this. Im not arguing with you but I dont understand why a customer would have that attitude. We are not beggars on the street rattling a tin so why would they feel that they should only give money to girls who dont have any? We are providing a service. It shouldnt matter to them how much money we have made in that night unless they just go to strip clubs to make donations to struggling dancers.

I always have my big notes on the outside. My money isn't very visible tho coz I kept it wrapped under my shoe - it's hard to explain I put rubber bands on the sole of the shoe and the money hangs, secured by more rubber bands near the heel. So the only customers who see how much money I have is the ones buying lap dances when I put their money in my shoe or when I am up on the podium.

I have noticed lately that if I have some money at the start of the night I seem to have a good money night. This happened accidentally. I forgot to leave the last nights earnings at home and I didnt want to leave it in the dressing room so I put it back in my shoe. Then I made heaps of money that night. Then the other night my manager owed me money for a photoshoot I did so I put that money in my shoe and again a great money night. It could be coincidence but I'm thinking that money attracts money and now it's like a good luck thing even to just put one single note in there before I get on the floor.

LMAO! exactly girl. if a girl has money, that means she's good at her job, not that she doesn't need anymore because in his opinion she has enough. plus don't fucking come in to give out charity cause i certainly don't need it, that guy should actually donate his money to a women's shelter if he's so damn concerned!

also, if a guy is trying to help struggling dancers, isn't he really just prolonging the inevitable? idk.

i try to always keep my big notes on the outside. I wrap my garter twice around my ankle that way its noticeable on the stage when they see my feet but not when im on the floor.

This might be a bit off topic but does where you wear your garter make a difference to the money you earn. I found that when i wear it on my leg i made less than when its on my ankle.

^ good point! im wondering if keeping your money on your ankle is better because its still visible but not all the time like a thigh garter or money in gstring. and its a little more difficult to see the bill values.

hmmm i think im going to wrap some 20's around my ankle and see how it goes ths weekend.

i keep it on my ankle just so i now its there. I would be worried about losing it if it was on my shoe.

I do too! I wear a garter on my thigh and I always put my 100's on the outside. It's always visible to me, and I like wearing it this way. I think it makes me look popular at the club, and good at what I do. So far, it's working well. I have been making a lot of money even when the club is royally DEAD.

The only thing I've thought about is increased dirty looks, and perhaps how the other dancers are seeing it (like I'm showing off) - especially when I'm putting them in there at the beginning of my shift. We have a lot of pissy day girls who honestly sit at the bar in a big group, ALL day. I don't get it.

They need to read some HH.

My club is known for extras. The headache isn't worth it. When the convo goes towards vip and I have to be very clear about not giving hand/blow jobs or full on fucking, I've lost the sale. I sell vips to my regulars and to customers that have never been there before. When I've taken someone to vip that's been there before, it's an arguement because, no I'm not going to let them stick thier tognue in my mouth, suck on my boob, or lick my kitty. (These things go on during normal lap dances with most of the girls.) It's payment upfront and the club will back you if you refuse to finish a dance for a customer. After the first or second time it got old and it's not worth the drama, imo.

Large denomination bills are a vote of confidence to high spenders, and tend to intimidate cheap losers. So....

Ok, I finally tried this last night but I rolled the money around my ankle inside my black backseam stockings. I put 20's on one ankle and 1's & 5's on the other. I don't know how visible it was on the floor, but I know you could see it on the stage. Either way it didnt seem to make a difference for me - tip or dance wise. But I was a little less paranoid about customers stealing from me - maybe I will keep my money there from now on for ease of mind.
