Just curious.. because a lot of these days it takes a second job & most people moonlight (so to speak)..
Pretty simple really.. what's your day job?

I teach piano. I worked at a research company as an analyst but got fired in February. I was there for four years.
Piano teaching is where my heart is and stripping will allow me to get a good piano and a home where I can teach. I currently teach in a studio and want to go private.

I'm a bartender and a student

I'm a student too if that counts as another job![]()

I make porn. Does that count as another job?
I thought customers weren't allowed to post in here.?
Thats also one of the questions I hate the most when guys ask it at work.

Who's a customer? JustTommy's profile says "other performer" ?
His other post says hes a dude.

Tommy? I don't want to offend anyone, but yeah, chances are its a dude
Lol. I cant stand it. Probably cause I have been asked it 10 times a nite for the last 8 years or so..

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I agree with Lysondra and Andygirl. What is this "other job" of which you speak?
But a faux "day job" is a great excuse for why you're much too busy to date or meet a custy OTC.![]()

Well if you don't have another job I can see it being annoying. I guess I just like it because I love talking about piano. Really gets the conversation going.

^^
until recently I was a student. The reason it pisses me off (besides being asked the same thing over and over again) is because it is presumptive, like because we strip that's not enough and we must do something else. That's what annoys me.

Okay, I can see that. When I started stripping I promised myself I'd always have another job so I guess having that mentally prevents me from getting annoyed.

When people ask "what else do you do" I have always assumed they were talking about hobbies. Huh.
