WARNING:
May be triggering to ED's. I hope not as it's not intended to be.
I have been training with a personal trainer 3 times per week. My body looks more toned than it ever has before. However I just found out (weighed myself on two different scales) that I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life.
On an intellectual level I know it's from the gain in muscle. My body fat % is at 18% - my aim is to get it to 15%.
However on an emotional level Im extremely uncomfortable weighting what I weigh because it's the heaviest I've ever been.
Am I being stupid? I sort of know I am but at the same time it makes me want to give up the training.

yeah, that's it!
), don't worry about the number. the metric you should use is just what you see and what you're happy with.
I guess I'm happier if my body looks good and lean, and I shouldn't worry about that stupid number on the scale. It's just wierd how I can weigh 15 lbs more than someone who is bigger than me!
