Are you actually employed by the club? Since we are independent contractors, and I do sometimes dance at multiple clubs, I always put "self-employed" for absolutely everything.

how about you put "currently unemployed"?

and if the topic comes up with the bf's family just say you were laid off recently due to slow business lately. (there really is a recession )

you're technically a outside contractor with the club, right? so they wouldn't/might not "vouch" your employment anyways.

and you're not going to report any substantial income either, riiiiiiight? *cough*

so, maybe you can chalk it up to a temporary "lost job". your bf's family can then be easily "hushed" not to bring up the topic. your bf can say "it's a touchy subject, she just lost her job. she doesn't want to talk about it and don't ask her."

Well, since you are an independent contractor just put Self Employed for employer and put in your own address. That's what I do when I have to fill out stuff. Well, use a UPS store address which is basically a PO Box with a normal business looking address. You can always do that too if you don't want people to know where you live.

If you put "self-employed" or "independent contractor" list your home address. It may raise eyebrows but information in lawsuits will be public information. I don't know your story, but are you seeking monetary damages? If so, you will have to be honest about your occupation, as the money you recieve will be based on your income and loss of that income.
