Before anyone says it. I've called and made an appt with my specialist. It's going to cost me around 1,500 more than likely because I'm going to demand a CT scan.
My usual lupus issues are there. The freezing feet (which are now going up to my ankles) but for the last month every day I've had a migraine. I'm not talking a lil' head throbbing here. I"m talking full on vomiting and lethargic.
The other day my right eye felt like I had an abrasion on the cornea. Which I know isn't possible considering I've not scraped or even been poked in the eye. Then it began aching and feeling as if sand were in it.
Now when I get a headache my eyes go a bit fuzzy. I can't see hardly at all in the dark, so driving at night is getting harder. And I can't seem to focus well the later it gets in the evening when I try and read my books.
I'm really getting scared here.
I know that it's possible for the sight to go a little wonky due to headaches because of the restriction in blood flow. But it seems to happen later in the evening and when the headache isn't around any longer. (I tend to wake up with migraines and by 10pm they are subsided)
I'm not taking any meds for this other than caffeine and upping my electrolytes.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
I'm asking for a CT and also an appt to an eye DR as well. I do wear glasses and other than late at night I can see fine. I have to go every 6 months for an eye check up because my eyes about 6 years ago began to get really bad...really quick. I went from 20/20 to -245 in each eye. AKA I'm basically legally blind now for a lack of better terms.
