    Default Nausea and your Period

I'm just curious if anyone else gets this (i'm sure someone here does). But for the first time ever I've had nausea while on my period. I started today, and first of all I've never had cramps like this before. So much pain, and so bad that it shot all the way down to my feet. It's usual that I'd get cramps in my thighs, but never so far down. It took 2 hours for Midol to set in. Usually it takes 20 minutes. The nausea is really bothersome to me. I've been eating mild things, but that doesn't seem to matter. Any other ideas?

the only time i had nausea while on my period was when it was a miscarriage... so it really wasn't my period, i thought it was though, but looking back, i was 5-6 days late so it probably was an early m/c.

maybe you can get a Rx for tylenol 3 really quickly?

The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it, and above."

Could I just call my reg. doctor for that? I'm considering asking my employer (who is a military ob/gyn but specializes in high risk pregnancies). I'm not sure she could write a non-military script though. It's fine, and then it's SUPER painful and coupled with (ugh) gas. So far tonight I've been able to succesfully eat a banana. I'm working on applesauce now, but need to be in bed within an hour

Nope, haven't had a drink for awhile. Maybe that's the problem LOL
Tonight I had to take 3 ibuprofen in addition to the midol, laid on the couch with a heat pad and waited for it to pass. It did, and now I shoudl be able to sleep.... an hour later than I needed.
