I've been all over and currently am spending the summer at a nice enough if podunk club-- lots of Black and Hispanic men. I would say that it's about even between White/Black/Hispanic men there, with Asian men being a rarity. Also-- lots of Black women and White women-- very little in the way of Hispanic or Asian women there, though there is one or two.
I'm pretty comfortable-- the only racial difference I can tell, that I've noticed at other clubs as well is that Black men will talk and talk about having big money and these types will not want to spend in the club AT ALL-- they are SO cheap, and only want to arrange for OTC ickiness. Luckily, only about half the Black men I run into are like this-- the other half are awesome and tend to be more shy than the majority of White or Hispanic men.
Being an olive toned, dark haired woman with a big butt I can appeal to and walk easily between the different men. Although, having a conversation with a very large Black man with an afro last week, I was talking about the two different Lollipop songs out which our DJ had unwisely chosen to play with only one song inbetween them. The man I was with started talking about who had sung each one-- and I remarked that I had thought they were made by the same person. He paused for a second and said,
"You don't know much about rap, do you?" It wasn't said rudely, just very quietly and somewhat strangely like I was an oddity. I admitted I didn't and then went on to ask about Lil Wayne's facial tattoos which to me are a little disconcerting.
I think, if a girl doesn't try to pretend that she's someone else, and takes each person as they are, that there should be no trouble working with different groups of people. Even taking into account certain biases that people form based on experience (I for example approach Black men easily but once they start talking about lots of money, I'm like, oh, damn-- you're one of THOSE men; the same with Hispanic men-- I approach them easily enough, but find they tend to lick more or touch in a very odd way.)
Not everyone in a certain ethnic group is going to act the same way, and I find that it really is the stupid girls shooting themselves in the foot who expect them to.
