    Default Caffine hangover

Does anyone else get these? Last night I had waaaay too much energy drink and today I just feel like shit. I'm irritable, emotional and I didn't sleep right with all the caffine in my system. I wish I could work with no caffine at all but I'm just so exhausted from my day job that I just have no energy to cat to people without it

I feel like I need some cyber hugs today

If I drink enough caffeine to disrupt my sleep, then it does have an effect. I'm not sure it is from the caffeine itself, it might be a lack of sleep.

I know what you mean when you don't want to chat or even think, but you gotta keep yourself going so you keep drinking diet coke or coffee. Its really great that you're disciplined enough to push yourself and do what it takes to get the job done though! I hope you at least had a good night last night!!!

Yeah, just rest up today or do some stuff around the house and you will have a good week.

Thanks hon, I had an ok night, not great but good enough. I only have energy to work 8 hours now, even with energy drinks. On a Saturday we're open from 6pm-4am and now I really struggle to make it past 2am. There were guys in last night but they weren't really spending. I probs coulda make another £100 if I'd had the energy but by 1.30am I was done.

Yep. I have an anxiety/panic disorder and my psych does not want me to drink energy drinks at all... but at work, I kind of need them. I also take Excedrin to avoid headaches and hangovers ,and that has caffeine in it. Not good for somebody who suffers with this disorder. For days I feel irritable, extra sensitive, and my panic attacks more severe. I just try to watch and be extra careful with what I consume while at work to avoid this.

The headache might be from dehydration, since caffeine has a tendency to do that. It's a diuretic, so just make sure to get enough water, too.

A small cup of coffee or piece of chocolate might help, since you might be going through caffeine withdrawl. I have to have caffeine everyday or I'll get headaches.
