First off, I missed SW! Hadn't gotten on here the past 2 days (it really is addicting!).
My husband and I both got cursed with a nasty stomach bug.For me, it started during the night on Saturday night - I kept waking up feeling "icky", but would then fall back asleep. When I woke up Sunday morning, I knew something was wrong. Hubby got home from work about 8am, and brought our little one back with him (she's 21 months). He wasn't feeling real hot either, but I let him sleep while I watched the baby. My stomach was bad. Really bad. Sharp pains + nausea. By noon, it was everything I could do NOT to vomit. Then he wakes up, puking - oh my God, it was awful. I have a HUGE fear of vomiting (I'm weird, I know) - so it was like a nightmare. We had his parents come and get the baby - and luckily my older daughter was out of town with her father this weekend.
We spent the day laying in bed - going between the bathrooms...moaning about how horrible we felt. I haven't been sick like that since I was a child. Thankfully, I got a full night's sleep (baby is still with grandparents), and this morning I am back to normal.
I think I'll be OK to work the lunch shift today - I am bummed because I didn't work Saturday or Sunday, which I had planned for.
Anyhoo - is that not the WORST feeling ever? It's like, when you are both sick as a dog, you can't take care of eachother, and taking care of a small child is next to impossible.
SO happy to be feeling better today! And so much to catch up on, on SWHaha!
