All forms of hormonal birth control can cause fatal side effects. Just FYI. They all carry some risk of strokes and blood clots, although some affect women more than others. This is why doctors warn against smoking while on BC.

It doesn't stick like it says is all I have to say.

^See, I had the opposite problem. It stuck to me like cement and every week I had to battle with it to get it off. Once it took skin with it.
And it left nasty glue after it came off, so I had this dirty patch for a couple days. So gross.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
I tried it years ago, and it gave me a terrible itchy rash on and around the patch site. Never again!

It was my favorite birth control ever. Made my boobs big, I lost weight, and had no other side effects. I miss it![]()
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
I've used it twice. Both times I used it for over a year. I didn't have a lot of side effects. I was sick to my stomach for the first week, skin cleared up but I gained a lot of weight.. close to 15 pds!!! Snuck up on me really slow. The actual patch itself would occasionally not stick to my skin. Guys at work were constantly asking me how giving up smokes was working for me or complete strangers when I was out somewhere would ask me what type of patch it was.....thinking about trying it for the third time. I feel like getting fat again.
ahhhhhhhhhhhh NOOOO oh god i hate the patch, i tried it for 3 months.
I gained about 10 pounds, had awful mood swings and back acne.

i loved the patch. it was great. except for the sticky square that it left on my butt. are you dancing lovespell? it may not be too flattering to be naked with the patch on. but hey on the flip side, they know you're not pregnant

I used the patch for about 3 years, with no issues. I thought it was great. After having my 2nd daughter, I got back on the patch, but had leg pain and nausea. My doctor told me that they recently changed the patch - it's different now. I said no thanks.
Yaz is what I use now, and I love it.

I've never used it, but I think it looks awful on dancers. Definitely skip it if you're dancing right now.
