    Default Migraine and my period.

For the last 5 or 6 months I've been getting terrible, really terrible migraines towards the end of just after my period. Never any other time.

These migraines are killers, it's the whole deal, light sensitive, nausea, throwing up, pounding pounding head...and the pain. omg.

I've tried every over the counter pain killer there is. And yes, I will be going to the obgyn to see what's up...but not yet ($$$). Now, I'm on my period, I know this migraine is going to come...can anyone give me any help on how to lessen the pain? Or try to avoid it?

    Anyone?

Default Re: Migraine and my period.

The only success I've ever had getting rid of them is taking excedrin migraine right when I feel one coming on, and immediately going into my dark room and going to sleep. If I don't go to sleep I get the nausea and stuff. If I do go to sleep, when I wake up in a couple hours I feel ok.
