    Default Smashbox Foundation?

Somebody recently recommended Smashbox Foundation to me, but they didnt specify which one (the liquid or the powder) and I've been using MAC Studio Fix for so long I'm afraid to switch over, but I really dont like the way MAC looks on me anymore.

Has anybody tried either of the Smashbox foundations? What do they look like? Do they last?

Oh, yeah, I also heard some really good things about DiorSkin Forever. Can anybody vouch for that or compare them for me?

    Much appreciation in advance.

I just got this: http://www.smashbox.com/MC3 And I really love it. If you are going to try the foundation anyway, you might as well get the rest of this stuff with it. It's only $59. That's one thing I love about Smashbox, they always have wonderful sets like this. I've never been disappointed with anything of theirs.

I thought folks were having success with using just the primer alone if they needed only light coverage?

I was thinking of using it for a more even appearance. I don't wear foundation, just a concealer stick on undereye circles and zits.

The primer is clear. I don't see how it would be anything like a foundation.

Yeah, I saw that collection at Sephora the other day and almost got it, but then I was looking at their Adjustable Powder Foundation and I kind of wanted that...le sigh. Did you find the products from the collection had good staying power?

They also make a green primer to counteract redness, a violet primer to counteract sallowness, and a peachy tiny primer which adds warmth. Theres also a bronze tinted primer.

    To the op,

I've road tested a lot of different foundations including Smashbox, Dior, Lancome, Armani, etc. and swear(SWEAR!) by Makeup forever's 'face and body liquid makeup'. I have light olive, highly sensitive combination skin; so finding the right formula has been a big challenge to me. But this stuff is bomb!!!
