No alcohol, but they make some cocktails mighty tasty, and a bitters & soda is mighty good for the tummy.

Dude Bitters are 90 proof! In fact during the depression, there were bars that could stay open and serve bitters because you could get a perscription for it as it is medicinal!
bitters are great for heart burn and sour tummy!!!

"bitters are extremely concentrated and not normally dunk purely!"
LOL girl no wonder you love bitters so much!! You never knew you were getting tipsy!! Most people actually don't know there is booze in bitters. In WI we do lots of shots of bitters in tradition of this doctor that opened the bitters bar so we could drink during prohibition....off to find other link for that....
More of the story on how Angostura Bitters survived Prohitbition and why this pub in Door County wisconsin is the world's largest seller of bitters!!
http://www.washingtonisland.com/nelsens/default.asp
During prohibition, Tom applied for and was granted a pharmacist’s license and dispensed his stomach tonic to the local residents. Even though Angostura Bitters is 90 proof, Tom was allowed to serve his tonic, so his saloon remained open. This makes Nelsen’s Hall the oldest legally continuously operated saloon in the state of Wisconsin
Wow! No, I had no idea there was alcohol in bitters!
