    Default Stripper School

Has anyone ever heard of Zoe's Dance Studio (Dallas-Irving). They have pole classes and exotic dancing courses. Saw an ad in our dressing room....now they offer a hustling class as well. They say they guarantee you'll make more $$$.

Anyone ever go to something similar in your area? (For the Dallas girls - have you heard anything positive/negative about Zoe's in particular?)

Interesting. I think you should go and report back on what they teach; like, is it about reading customers and sales, or about lying and leading them on? LOL

Hmm I wonder if their "hustle tips" are things they've compiled in a notebook from SW and peddled their product off to the Dallas girls.

If that's the case, dammit I want my cut!

I know someone who runs a pole dancing school and she teaches pole work, floor work, and lap dancing. She's very nice and I'm sure talented, but she's never worked in a strip club in her life. She started out self taught then hired a dancer to help teach her and went to various other classes to learn the rest. I'm not going to mention names or locations (and no, it's not the place the OP talked about) but I'd try to be certain that the person teaching the classes has actually worked in a strip club.

    ^^

Apparenrly she was a dancer for 18+ years (according to the limited info I have found online).

When I tried to call the place this afternoon, the phone # didn't work! I'll have to look at the sign again when I go into work tonight. Maybe I had it down wrong.

there's a girl in my club who went to dancing classes, & she said the owner/teacher actually kind of looked down on dancing. i think her business was targeted at moms & club hos looking trying to learn feel sexy rather than actually producing strippers & wanted to emphasize that they were "doing it for themselves" or whatever.

if there was a dancing school that included dancing instruction & hustling tips i'd totally be there!

^This is quite common at pole dancing classes.

Lily Burana wrote about a stripper school she attended in Florida, besides that I know nothing. Check it out and report back!

I wonder if it's the same lady that brings her classes into my club every once in awhile. About 30 women will come in to observe. She teaches seductive dance, pole, hustling and a class especially for aspiring strippers. They buy dances and tip and she gives them a tour of the club.

oooh! ding-ding business idea! I should do that in my club. $60 a class or something? an hour long? I could do it during a weekend day or something. Hmm. I'll have to think about that.

Oh, and txchick: I get the feeling, from your posts and pics, that you don't really need a class, unless you want to learn some pole tricks or something.

Lily Burana went to Pure Talent in Florida.
They have classes specifically for features and then dance/hustling classes for house girls.
I know a few features who have gone there, and their shows are a lot better than features who haven't.
If I can find the time/money to get down there I would love to go!

At least they buy dances! My club has that group too, from an unnamed large chain of schools, and while they tip OK on stage most of their attitudes are really snotty. I asked one for a dance, and even tried the 'how about a lapdance lesson then, or you can just see a pro in action' hustle and they were all kinda bitches. But not to thread de-rail, yeah I would so be there if a school taught hustling tips!

Is she an older Hispanic woman? (could be wrong on that nationality)

ITA. You're gorgeous, have only been dancing for a few weeks and you're already raking in the cash!

New Pole Dance Studio has opened up in Santa Monica California.
If any of you live out here you should check it out.

Class size is kept limited in this afternoon class to make sure each woman can have plenty of personal attention from the instructor and lot of time to play on the pole.

    Pole Dance class schedule:

Saturdays at 2 to 3:30, beginners class.

Thursdays at 7 to 9pm, beginners class.

Tuesdays at 6:30 to 8:00, intermediate class.

The studio is located at 1334 Licoln blvd. Santa Monica

You will want to charge more and go for at least 3 hours. Break up the schedule:

    1 hr floor work
    1 hr pole work
    1 hr sales/hustle tips

and if you want to throw in some lap dance tips, go for it! I do this all over the country at clubs and Sunday late afternoons work best because most clubs are not open.

Well, I'd probably just do Sales and lapdancing/selling multiples. I'm shit at stage dancing .

I still think about it, when I hear girls say stuff like, "I don't know what to say to guys..."
