yeah-- so I'm not much of a home cooker. Don't get me wrong-- I know HOW to cook, and in the event of cooking for others I do a pretty damn impressive job. However, on my own, I go out to eat or ... I go out to eat.

I bought some salmon a few weeks back (thread: I lub lub lub salmon) and found that that ACV rinse was crap. It made my salmon taste like apple cider vinegar. fuck that. so I've got a pound or so of salmon, pretty good salmon even-- but it's frozen.

and I'm hungry. and a bit broke (somewhat by choice-- I just have to go into work and I haven't.)

so I'm speed thawing my salmon and figured fuck it-- put it in the oven slathered in coconut oil and starting out at 200 degrees. I figure after it relaxes a little, I'll start cooking it either on the stove top or in the oven at a higher temp.

I don't expect it to be good. we'll see what happens.
