Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
I consume dairy and gluten, I have never had a yeast infection though so I dont think it's candidia. In my case exzema gets triggered from stuff physical touching my skin.....wool, poleyester .... if I use a new soap sometimes and stuff like that...if I dont shave my legs. Its only on my legs which is weird, but it can get very bad. Any ideas as to why that would be anyone?

^You can blend it with other things if you want. You can use shea butter ANYWHERE on your body. I even put it in my hair. Remember, it's a butter..a little goes a long way. Take a little bit, rub it together in your hands and it will melt really smooth in your hands.

Its always best to go to a dermo and get diagnosed. I was dianosed with 4 different kinds of psoriasis. They prescribed Triamcinoclone and UV therapy. It helped but you have to keep using it.
FYI: Excema is a general term for a skin ailment. Its not a specific condition.
I'm getting my Dial-A-Stripper service up and running again. If you are in NYC or NJ and are interested in private party dancing, email [email protected] with your SW handle, contact info, photo (if you have one) & best time to call and I'll get back to you asap.
If you're having a party and need strippers, email me with the details and any questions you have. Thanks!

Try eliminating dairy and gluten. Bet it's one of those culprits. Food intolerances can make the skin more sensitive to things like wool and polyester. Everything happens from the inside then out.
Google exczema and food intolerances if (by chance) you're doubting what I'm saying.
My daughter has had excema since birth. Horrible, vicious outbreaks. We have used some of these suggestions with good results and here's a couple more.
A&D Ointment- She slathers it on all irritated parts and it really helps to clear up spots.
Tar Shampoos- like Tegrin. We also use these as a body wash to great results so I bet the black tar soap talked about earlier was the same thing.
Both of these are smelly but the relief is worth it.

Can I use A&D on my face? Just out of nowhere I have a huge breakout of flaky skin- covering my eyelids and whole face. It is especially bad around my nose....now I don't even want to go outside during the day cause it's so noticeable.
My skin is so dry and when I put my moisturizer on it (2 different kinds that have been working great up until now) my skin HURTS.

I go to the doc and get a steroid cream. Though since having it as a child I've had to switch creams two or three times because my body would get used to the steroid.
I try to keep my skin dry but moisturized - I hope that makes sense. Dryness leads to itchy and itchy leads to eczema flare up. Or sometimes it comes out of nowhere. Little dry patch here or there.

oh i forgot to add, do sea salt soaks, on the areas. it will dry the area out so it can heal, that is if its bad enough to blister. mine was.

I got some shea butter today! will try it o my daughter tonight.thanks for all the helpful suggestions people have put in this thread.

We do. I would think it could cause breakouts because it's so greasy but her face is super dry so she isn't prone to breakouts. We only use it at night on the face though. I can't imagine trying to get makeup to stick over it. She just uses a headband to keep the hair back and slathers it on. It really seems to help.
My son gets that real flaky dry skin on his eyelids too.

sunlight is supposed to make it better, so that's probably why tanning works for you. I always get worse eczema in the winter, when i'm covered up all day.
Oatmeal. Yes, really. You can put your hands and feet in it - I'm not sure if it would go down a drain if you put it in a tub. Maybe if you made it really runny? Cold or cool, obviously, not like you're about to eat it.

A lot of people on the Lush forum swear by Dream Cream for their eczema.

I've had it for about 8 years and a couple of things that really help me is bathing in Cetaphil soap only!!!
rinsing my body with 1part ACV to 4 parts water then just dry off.
these two things will complete cut-out the itching and symptoms. The only thing left is the horrible dry dry dry desert dry can't moisturize if you try skin (at least that's the way it is for me)
I use pure shea butter and it helps sometimes and I put it on twice. Moisturize right out the bath and then again in about an hour or two.
Drink as much water as you can.

anyone else get it on their neck and underarms? that's where mine is.i get these little roundish raised red patches (sometimes itchy) on the sides and back of my neck.. and in my armpits.
i hate it most on my neck because people at work always go "oohhhhh is that a HICKY?!?!?!" like alllllllllll the time.
i've seen two doctors over a couple year period and they both said it -looks- more like eczema than psoriasis, but they can't tell "for sure" without a test. since the test is expensive and i have no insurance i was told it "doesn't matter" anyway since they are treated the same.

My niece has a terrible issue with it all over during warmer months and swears that organic Coconut Oil soothes and heals as well as any prescription she has tried!
Hello,Ladies
here is a recipe my granny did for me.unless you are allergic to milk.
take 3cups of goats milk,4 cups of dried milk 1 cup of buttermilk 1cup of oatmeal
run tub to half full and then soak. add a little more water while soaking. rinse with warm and use a very soft towel. pay skin dry
second recipe. get pure honey pur in water with 1cup oatmeal and 3 table spoons slippery elm powder.
the slippery elm will cool the skin down. add mashed 4 bananas.
run water in the tub 1/2 full make sure ingredients are mixed up.
rinse of with warm water pat skin dry.
last recipe. 4 cucumbers mashed with 1 cup baking soda in bath water.
your skin will cool down and the itching will stop.
be careful what detergent you use when washing clothes. Stay away from tide.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
