Hey lovelies,
I've been on Ortho Cyclen for the last year or so and have been really happy with it. I was getting it through Planned Parenthood and they've since discontinued selling it as the price went up from the company they were purchasing it from.
So I went to my doctor and asked to be prescribed Ortho Cyclen. By mistake, I guess, I've been prescribed Ortho TriCyclen. Does anyone know what the difference is? I feel like my body is used to the BC I've been taking and I don't want to mess anything up by taking a different one. Its the "tri" part that I'm wondering about....does that mean its three times the strength of the original one I've been taking?
I'm so confused and only just realized the mistake by my doctor as I just picked up my prescription from the pharmacy.
Thanks in advance for your help![]()
