    Default belly problems

so I have read some of the threads created on getting rid of the horrible little belly... and I have been working out 3-5 days out of the week for the past month..
I still feel very self-conscious about my little belly tho. I am a slim girl(have been almost my entire life) and now I have this belly. I've asked some of my guy friends how often they see a skinny girl with a "pooch" and they all say I'm one of the few they've seen.lol.
so I just wanted to know if there are any other small frame girls out there that struggle w. the belly too?

I do. Especially when I drink alot of carbonation. Pilates helped me as well, though I've been lazy about doing it lately.

If u seem to only hold weight in your tummy try cutting sodium (salt) from your diet.

Women tend to retain water weight around their midsection... No amount of exercise can get rid of that if that is what it is from. Only way to get rid of water weight is water pills (not good for you) or reducing salt. Trust me- I hear ya... salt fiend here!

I call it guppy belly. I get it after I eat something that mekes me bloat. Most women are too self conscious about their bodies. But keep trying til your satisfied. Don't give up.

If you drink alcohol, stop completely. Nothing adds to a tummy more than booze, even in small amounts. When I stopped drinking, I saw a WONDERFUL difference in my stomach.

First off, stop asking your guy friends for opinions on your body, they will just hate on you!

I think bellies are pretty natural for most all girls. Have you been focusing on your core muscles & posture with your exercising? That helps a ton. When you're doing cardio, lifting weights, etc, just make sure to focus on & support your core as well. It makes a huge difference, along w/ drinking more water (goes hand in hand w/ the sodium thing) & cutting down on booze.

Holy shit I hate the belly! I'm a petite woman and I've had the belly my whole life. Talk about a fucking pain in the ass. I do a lot of yoga and core stretching. I find that this helps a little. It elongates your midsection, plus makes you feel good!

I barely drink alcohol so its not that for me. I have a low body fat % and my tummy is flat but not as toned as I would like esp on the bottom. Im obsessed with it, i constantly check it in the mirror and even take photos of it. It's ridiculous.

If I dont get rid of it this month with diet and exercise I am seriously considering lipo.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
