She began by describing my dogs' personalities. She did nail Jane's personality -- she described her as very smart, very friendly and exuberant. She said she doesn't like rules. She also described my other dog (Greta) correctly as a lover of rules, graceful and elegant. She said Greta doesn't like when Jane misbehaves (correct).
Then she said Jane wants to me to take her back to obedience school, which didn't really make sense to me. She also said Jane wants to know why she doesn't get to go on longer walks and I told her it was because of her leg injuries, which long walks tend to agravate. The psychic asked if it was a hip problem, and I said no. She then asked if it was her rear right leg, and I said yes, it's both of her back knees -- both had ACL injuries.
I asked about Jane's nightmares and she told me that Jane was dreaming about a tall, thin black man chasing her and dragging her by her back hips, perhaps leading to a hip injury. She said she hasn't seen this before and it seems like an uncommon image. Interestingly, I got Jane from an animal shelter in Harlem, NY. So it is quite likely that her former owner was black. I asked the psychic if Jane abused and she said she wouldn't call it abuse per se, but that the guy was doing it out of frustration with Jane's energy level (she was a crazy hyper puppy) and it was traumatic for Jane. She told me she was telling Jane that she doesn't have to fear that happening ever again.
She said Jane is smart and wants more mental stimulation and wants to go explore the outdoors -- both of those things seem probably true to me.
When I asked her if Greta wanted to communicate anything, she said Greta wanted to eat hotdogs. Now, what is a red flag there for me is a) we don't feed her hotdogs and b) on this woman's web site is a testimonial from a lady who says her dog asked for hotdogs during the communication. So it kinda struck me as bullshit there.
However, when the phone call was over, I said, "Now Jane, do you think that was real?" And Jane got up (she was laying down) and hugged me. She put her paws on my lap and leaned into me.
