I'm ready to get my Venus and Serena on![]()
Seriously though, I've always wanted to learn how to play, and I watch on TV but I never understood how they get the match points.
Anyone play?

I love tennis but I am very rusty as I can never convince anyone to head down to the courts with me. Great for the abs by the way.
You get a matchpoint in a womans game if you are about to win a second set which you win by breaking your opponents serve, meaning you win a game that they are serving for. LOL that probably made no sense!

^Yeahh...no it really didn't lmao

Its really good for your legs and arms of course. Its an all around good workout and fun to do. I don't like doubles only singles. I took a few classes on it when I started college at 18. I definitely recommend trying it. Make sure you get the right racket though.

that's your flaw
put down some roots so you can stand on your own

I played in high school for 2 years...I still play on occasion. Tennis is awesome. I love it. The scoring is difficult to catch onto...it takes time. When I first started playing I never knew if I scored or not, or who was cheering for who. It was confusing as hell.
It is def a good workout though. You build alot of muscle and stamina. It can be very tiring and draining though. Overall, its a very fun sport. Its my 2nd favorite besides softball. (I played that as well) Give it a shot.
