Are you offering a special price, or just your services? This probably does belong elsewhere, but will get more traffic here. Are you offering discounted services like most places that advertise on here?
    I'm not who I say I am.

What are the prices for extensions? I know it varies by type, but that website doesn't list any prices. I like to do cost comparisons when I shop around.

I cant tell you a price without a consultation. It depends on what length you want, how much hair you need. A full head, a partia, what type you are getting...human hair, synthetic hair...etc.......the extensions have a very wide range in prices . Im sorry, I really cant quote anythig without seeing the hair first.

Oh poppycock! I'm sure you can list the range of prices for various techniques/amounts.

    Lookie, I'll even help.

    Technique X:

    Synthetic
    Full $100-$300
    Partial $.....- $.....

    Human Hair
    Full $200-$500
    Partial $........ etc.

    Technique Y
    :

    Synthetic
    Full $...... - $.....
    Partial $.....- $.....

    Human Hair
    Full $..... - $......
    Partial $........ etc.

If I can do it, so can you. Get typing.

Okay, I do over 15 types of extensions.....typing it out is impossible. Its like purchasing a car and deciding what your options...
what lenth...it goes from 10,12,14,16 up 24 inches. What brand? they are from your couple hundred dollar cheap extensions with lower quality hair to a couple thousand with high quality hair.
what quality of hair....each method is available with different levels of hair quality..each one raising the price for a higher hair quality.
it would take me forever to list all the different prices that it could be for all the methods I know. If someone is interested a consultation is the best way to go for this.

Honestly, you'd probably be better off making price list of some sort. Sure it can be time consuming but it's your business and price is a big factor when people are shopping around. If I was in your area and in the market for extensions I'd like to see some sort of general idea of price before I paid you to go to a consultation.

If you made some sort of list like Sophia started, it would probably help you out a lot and get you some more business. Do it once, and save it on your computer that way you've got it for future marketing. Just a suggestion..

Or at least do a lowest to highest price range. It's really not too difficult to type out the 15 kinds of hair and price for the lowest possible fee and the normal fee most people go for with that type of hair. Say that each inch of hair will add approximately __ to the price, and of coarse if you need even more hair than the price quoted here the price will be higher.

No one is going to come see you and waste their time if they get there and you say it's like 4 k to get their extensions done when they already know the person down the street will do it for much less. Unless you try to hustle people when they come sit in your chair a general list of price is standard.

To play devil's advocate... I've never heard of a price list for extensions, at least not from a reputable salon. *Everyone* I've ever asked has always worked with consultations. However, they might quote you a wide, ballpark figure. But a price list? No.

She's saying there's 15 extension types x however many brands x the amount of hair x the quality of hair x the length of hair...

Nice work, too bad im in CA and your in PA. I would try it, my hair is all ready very long but I would not mind adding in some more thickness and highlights
    woven underneath throughout.

Uhm... plastic surgeons can give a rough estimate of what a procedure (or set of procedures) will cost. I'm sure a chick that does hair can whip up a "ballpark" price list too. It's not really an issue of possible-vs-impossible. More like professional and well, you know.... the other option.

What kind of business woman IGNORES the requests of would be clients? Does she really expect anyone to come in for a consultation without even the most basic of ideas of what a particular technique costs?

Yeah, sign me up to drive to P.A.... 2.5 hours each way to get a consultation from the resident hair guru.

So.... how badly does she want to make money? Maybe she slept through the chapter on permutations... that doesn't mean it's impossible to make such a list. Just means she's unwilling to go an extra step.

That's pretty lame IMO... I don't want some one so prone to half-assing things anywhere near my hair. But that's just my

It's really a shame too... I was in the market for some extensions.

Cyberhair- for weak, thin, damaged to the very healthy, strong hair
These are a top of the line extension. They are 12 dollars a strand. A full head is 260 strands of hair. A partial head is 160, just adding length or some volume. Highlights can be as many stands as you wish. This process takes 2 to 4 hours. The hair is reusuable. This type of extension is more for the wash and go to type of person. Low heat should always be used. For people who do not do a lot of flat ironing.

Great Lengths- for very healthy, strong hair
Great Lengths are a very poplular sort of extesion with extrememly high quality hair . These are usually around 2500 for a full head. Less for less hair. More for longer or more hair. But 2500 is the average price.

Shrink Links- for the average to the very healthy, strong hair
Shrink links are pretty comparable to the price of great lengths. However the difference is shrink links hair is reusuable. So instead of paying the orginal amount every time you get your extensions re-done, you pay just the cost for removale and re instillation. This is usually a 4 to 6 hour procedure at 200 dollars and hour.

EuroLocs- for the very healthy, strong hair
This is a type of extensions installed with a metal bead rather than a keriton bond (like Great lengths ) The price is comparable to Great Lengths as well. The hair is also reusable.

Flat Weaves- for the average to the very healthy, strong hair
This is a cheaper method of extension. It is an alternative to glue in tracks or sew in. It last the same amount of time as any stand by stand method (all of the methods above) . You can provide your own hair (from any local store that sells hair) or I can order it for you. It is 500 dollars for installation. It takes approximately 2 to 4 hours.

MicroTabs- for the average to very healthy, strong hair
This is also another cheaper method of hair extension. Again you can provide your own hair or I can order it for you. It is also an alternative to sew or glue in.
It is also 500 for installation.

Synthetic- for the average to the very healthy, strong hair
This method is can be used to add highlights or funky colors or you can do a full head. You can provide your own hair or I can order it for you. This is a time consuming method. It is installed by pinch braiding your own hair to the synthetic hair. The hourly rate is 200.

Custom hair pieces and micro point extensions are for people with thinning hair, alopecia, Trichotillomania, and other disorders that cause severe hair loss. These range in price depending on the hair piece you need, or the amount of coverage. There is a program we provide called "mane for a year" which is designed to strengthen and restore your natural hair.

Photos of all of these services can be viewed on the site.

    I hope this information helps.

    Thanks
    Tori Baltimore

    I am in Philadelphia. Sorry

Thats good for you if you do it for half.
Honestly, I do not do Great Lengths that often because I believe there are other methods that are more cost efficiant (reusable hair) and that are less damaging in the long run. But those who still love the Great Lengths, that is what I charge.

Most salons in the city I live in charge from 2800 to 4000 for a full head of Great Lengths, so I dont think my prices are unreasonable.

Hey so if I want my friend to put some human hair extensions into my hair
what is the easiest way for her to do this at home. To use the little metal rings?
Doesnt that rip your hair out when you brush it though?
We can get all the stuff at a local beauty supply.
