It's a new documentary that I really want to see. It hits home big time.
Here's a news clip about it.

Marasmus ... "Ladies don't fart. They butt-laugh."
Marasmus says, "Oh no, that wasn't gas, it was merely a rectal chuckle."
Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."

I saw a CNN clip and I want to see it too! I hope it's not all bashing skinny people.

The part that kills me is where they interview a girl who was called obese for being a size 4 in the fashion industry. Oi!

Seriously, and what is she doing at age 12 in ADULT fashion shows? Or am I misreading that?
I have nothing against children in fashion shows but I don't think the idealized woman should be a prepubescent girl.

I think most women recognize the ridiculousness of the fashion industry and basically just ignore it. I worry about people that try to measure themselves by these unrealistic standards, though. Young girls are most vulnerable to the beauty standards, and if they don't have a good self esteem base at home, it can be very damaging to the young girl's psyche.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

I think people blaming their eating disorders or anything else on the media bullshit. And if they do, they might as well say "I'M A COMPLETE MINDFUCK AND PUPPET!"
Also, I think that lil girl should be putting the blame on her parents/guardians for a few things before she goes and blames the fashion industry. I don't feel bad for her.
