Marathon (if I ever get my ass into shape to do it)
rhytmic gymnastics ( to techno music just because)

Wow! I should totally take that shit up. I can't run without getting cramps and/or falling on my face, no matter how in-shape I am. I was a competitive swimmer as a kid and I still couldn't run worth a shit. So when I go on the treadmills at the gym, I speedwalk at about 4~ miles per hour. I'm fascinated by the idea that you can go faster than that -- twice that fast, in fact, doing a brief miles-to-kilometers calculation on the speeds of the champions...

If clearance/discount shopping were an Olympic sport I'd have the gold medal. As for real Olympic sports, I watched trampoline a few days ago and it looks like soooooo much fun! I'd definetely try that![]()

I've tried both, they are about the same to me, though I never sought out the toughest whitewater kayak stuff like my roommates did who were into it. I grew up playing in canoes so when I first tried a kayak it was a bit weird with the totally different paddle, but you get used to it.
I didn't know about the open-water swimming, that is cool!

Volleyball and tennis are not my favorites, and actually seem pretty stupid and contrived to me. Tennis being perhaps the most convoluted of the net/stick/ball sports. People running back and forth, hitting a ball with a net on a stick, over another net stretched between two sticks. Whoopee!
Tried it in high school, hated every minute of it. Volleyball not much better. I'd rather do pole tricks or hit the bag, anyday.
