i guess no one gets hangovers like me. either i'm not hungover at all (maybe a small headache but it goes away after i poo) or EXTREMELY death like feeling hungover...where im puking up nothing and all i can do is sleep. there is no cure for that. i just end up sleeping the whole day, waking up to puke but am fine by around 8pm. it's terrible haha.

no ruby those are mine hangovers except i lay there in pain not being able to sleep and get up every ten min to puke. it lasts till about 12 the next night!!! i drink wayyyyy too much though, like out of control amounts. ive finally slowed down since i have to start driving myself home from work. it was seriously starting to be a problem.
thank god im stopping now!

I dunno what's in that Yellow Tail shit but it is horrrrrible! For me it is instant queasiness followed shortly by a pounding headache which will eventually be followed by a disgusting hangover and/or a general sense of malaise depending on how much I drank the night before.
And this is for both the red AND white varieties of this "wine".
The best thing you can do is stay very very very far away from Yellow Tail products. No matter how good the deal is, no matter how tasty it might seem, no matter how clever the advertising is.... just don't drink it.
I'm glad you're feeling better, Viola. For the record, my hangover cures usually consist of drinking gatorade, ordering spicy savory thai food, and lots of rest. Oh yeah, and what ever pain medicine you have on hand.

The only thing that works for me is eating toast with peanutbutter and tons of water! hope u feel back to normal asap

When i drink a lot i always take 2 Aleves before i go to bed and even if i can only get a couple of hours of sleep i'm always good to go, no throwing up no headaches.

I've tried all of these (not all at the same time!)
- Vegemite and butter on toast
- peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich on white bread
- banana, milk, honey and ice milkshake
- orange juice
- tomato juice
- vitamin C
- vitamin B
- a blunt and sleep (seriously, it works!)
- a hot bath
Sulfates. As grapes ferment, sulfates are created. Some wines and liqueurs add sulfates as a flavor enhancer. I pretty much stick to beer these days. But I keep charcoal tablets on hand to help with any hangover symptoms.
I second the Gatorade or vitamin water, too.

^ damn you, sulfates! Damn you to hell!
It depends on how hungover I am. Simple carbs (such as saltines), soda water, alkaseltzer, ibuprofen... Generally, some simple carbs and alkaseltzer do it for me even on my worst hangovers. Oh, and if you're looking forward to a night of drinking, drink a bunch of gatoraide before you head out. It helps a bunch.

it's bad but...
hash browns & chocolate soy milk is my hangover remedy.

My mom bought me some Tylenol gels and when i opened them they are seriously the biggest pill I've ever seen in my life. I got FUCKED on UV, The olives and grey goose in the mountains (the altitude can make drinking hangovers worse) and jsut took two of those horse pills and was good to go hiking through the mountains in 20 minutes, it was amazing.
Otherwise I try to eat a piece of bread and or cry. I know that if I drink a lot and drink water in between drinks it makes me feel worse in the morning, weird but true.
I drink some cola and try to sleep. When I wake up later I eat the greasy food too and watch a movie or 2. If I'm really hungover I sometimes end up really thirsty drinking tons of water and then barfing which sucks.

I stay away from high fructose corn syrup and was pissed off when Gatorade added it in the US a couple of years ago. On a recent trip to Ecuador the Gatorade there didn't have it, just the sucrose (a less harmful sugar) they used to have.
But yes, electrolytes. The best stuff is called Pedialyte. Typically sold at drugstores and meant for kids with diarrhea, but it's got lots of electrolytes and works on adults too. Not quite as tasty as Gatorade, but better for you.

Before going on a bender eat one greasy assed Taco Bell meat burrito and down it with a glass of Gatorade or Pedialite, then right before going to bed/passing out, drink another glass with 2 tylonol, then when you wake up, eat another burrito, another 2 pills and another glass of gatorade.

protein and something carbonated (clear like Sprite or something)
Water, Water, Advil, water, water and more water, salt, water, salt, water.
I have it down to a science.
Crackers, asprin, chug a HUGE thing of gatorade or smart water (you need electrolytes) and xanax/weed/kolonopin some type of seditive shit even a tylenol PM (if they kinda but you in a sleep fog- if they knock you out for hours then dont do the tylenol PM). Nap for 2 hours. When you wake up, you will feel great.
^ It's not a good idea to mix klonipin/any sedative with alcohol. I know what it can do first hand and life support isn't a pretty place to wake up or not.

This is why I'm a bloody mary drinker. So much vitamin c in the mix so hangovers are much gentler.
Get some pedialyte and drink it the same night before you pass out. The sooner your body replenishes vitamins and absorbs excess alcohol, the less hung over you'll be the next day.
well.... thats just my remedy. drinking and sedatives are a no no, but once you have the AFTER effects of alcohol, put food in your belly, and put some electrolytes in your system... i think some sort of sedative to put you to sleep for a couple hours helps me out. with a bad hangover, i will toss and turn for hours in bed, wishing i could sleep-- but hey, im no doctor, thats just what gets rid of my hangovers!

Vodka has better filtration process than most alcholic drinks, and thus fewer toxins. The kind of mixer that you use with vodka also comes into play- water & fruit juices tend to rehydrate you (or being mixed, NOT dehydrate you as much as beer, cola, etc)
