    Default Gggrrrrr! Dilemma!

Okay, tomorrow I have to drive to Richmond, Va (I live in Pa) because I got a call back for a job with the Virginia State Police. Great right? Well, as you all know, I just brought my new kitten home yesterday. Today my mom comes to me (I live with the parents) and says that her asthma has been really bad and I will have to take the new kitten back because she thinks two cats and a dog in the house is too much for her to be able to breathe properly. I personally think the new cat has nothing to do with it but whatever, I live rent-free so I can't/won't argue. She tells me to give him back until I move out. (I would've moved out in 2 weeks if I hadn't gotten the call from VSP; now I have to wait and see if I get the job and have to move to Va instead) Anyway, I don't want to give him back. I know they will adopt him to someone else if I give him back. Plus, he just started getting comfortable enough to nap in plain view and I really want to keep him. So what do I do? Maybe like a kennel can hold on to him until I move? Or maybe one of the ladies from the adoption agency can foster him until I move? I don't know. I'm so upset.

Do you have a friend or family member that can take the kitten for a week or so until you can move out?

Take it and get it shaved. It will look very stylish and won't have any fur to carry allergens and dander around for a while. If there is a still a problem, give it a wipe down with a anti-dander wash once a week. Allergen or something.

Mmm, I dont know. It might really be bothering your mom. I only say that because I am allergic to some cats but not all...IDK why that is. Sometimes when I go to people's houses I have to leave because I start breaking out in hives and I can't breate without wheezing....It's a terrible terrible feeling....

If thats what your mom is experiencing you should give it to a friend or back to the shelter, bc trust me its AWFUL.

If you could keep it in your room for two weeks (depending on how old it is), it should be fine... if your mom would let you, that is. Talk to your mom. Offer to vacuum every day. My mom has terrible cat allergies and was okay with me brining my new kitten to meet her if it was vacuumed. If she still says "no", try to get a friend to take it. Last option is a cat hotel since they are so expensive. Could you afford to pack overnight stuff and stay in the hotel with the cat?

I've offered to vaccum every day and I just rubbed the baby down with two anti allergen wipes and used the anti allergen liquid and brushed him twice. She's sketchy about it but she's gonna give it a try. I keep him in my room now but for some reason she believes he's the reason she had the bad attack. I'm not sure. I can't even imagine not being able to breathe. I will see how the vaccuming works. I will also crack all the top windows so fresh air gets into the house. The dog runs around the whole house and she's allergic to him too. He's a siberian huskie so EVERYTHING is covered in his fur.

You might consider also buying/borrowing a good air filter system, like a HEPA. Have you lived there in PA long enough to have gotten friends? Sounds like not. If were close (I'm not) I could be talked into boarding your kitten. So I'm sure others closer would too.

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
