    i like comedians like dane cook, mitch hedberg, pablo fransisco, robin williams. im not really into richard prior, lisa lampenelli, dave chapelle. suggestions please!

    Dmitri Martin is similar to Mitch Hedberg. And although it doesn't seem to be your type of comedy, Chris Rock's Bigger and Blacker is a classic and incredibly hilarious.

    I always thought Richard Jeni was absolutely hilarious in his early years. He got bitter later in life, too bad.

    rooster470: How does Dmitri Martin's comedy translate onto a CD? Curious.

    i.breathe.in: Henry Rollins as a comic? Freakin' awesome audiophile -- he's DJ'd on a radio station in my area before, and the stuff from his own collection that he brought with him was the most interesting material I've heard on the radio. Just don't remember him doing any jokes.

    eddie izzard...though I recommend you watch a bit on you tube first. But my Eddie Izzard CDs got me to the keys and back when I drove alone!(its a 4 hour drive one way)

    I just saw terry from reno 911 do stand up and it was awesome
    Dave attell is funny too
    There is also this really funny Asian guy but i can't remember his name
    Sometimes comedy central does stand up marathons and i always end up watching all day

    But my all time FAVORITE is Ralphie May
