The other night at work I was on stage and a gentleman came over and tipped me very well throughout all 3 songs. I was ready to approach him off stage once I was done.
When I finished my set I went to the dressing room for a few min. to touch up my hair and make-up. When I come out, I see a girl already sitting on his lap. Oh well.
But as I walk by them, the guy gently grabs my arm and wants to talk to me. But the girl is just sitting there... on his lap. Not wanting to step on any toes I just say "Looks like you already have a hot girl sitting with you.. have fun!" so I pulled away and walked away. I noticed that she was sitting on his lap for soooooooo long, but I'm not sure if she even got any dances out of the guy.
So it kinda bothered me that I lost out on a customer. I don't blame her, I'm just wondering... did I do the right thing? Should I have stayed and hustled regardless of the girl on his lap or is it the right thing to do to just walk away?
