    Default Feeling Cold After Eating

I've noticed in the last few years that I get cold after I eat. Goosebumps. Shivering. Want to just wrap myself up in a blanket.

Our club is sometimes cold, but even when I am feeling that the temp is okay, then I order and eat food, suddenly I am cold.

I assume it's because my body is sending blood to my stomach for digestion, and so the rest of me isn't warmed so much by circulating bloodflow.

    Anyone else have this happen??

This happens to me all the time, and has for years, and I have no idea why, nor have I come up with a solution.

    Sorry. You're not alone though.
Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.

You're in restin' and digestin' mode, the opposite of fight or flight mode. All the blood is in your stomach, digesting away. I get that way too.

Thank GOD!!! I thought I was the only one, lol!

Hubby calls me a freeze baby since I am always carrying around a blanket where ever we go. Dinner, movies (especially, it's ALWAYS cold at the movies!), outdoor concerts, watching TV, playing golf, anywhere really.

it might be what you are trying to digest too.
meat takes a ton of time and energy to digest
followed by bread and cheese. fruits and veggies
take the least amount of time an energy which is
why it is burned readily an you get hungry sooner
    after eating it.

though if you try this watch out about food combining
veggies and fruit which your stomach digests differently.
some people are affected by bad food combing others
are not. classic bad example of bad food combining:
meat and potatos. basically makes your stomach try to
juggle, dance the hula, and tell knock knock jokes at the
same time trying to get it all processed at the
same time. next to flipping impossible.
