I got my nose pierced a little over two weeks ago.
5 days ago, my ex-bf ripped out my nose stud while he was ripping my sunglasses off my face and it bled and hurt really badly and I lost the stud in the process.
The original stud they pierced it with was pink, i was pissed off because I asked for clear/white, so I bought a white one and just went home and put the clear one in myself....sterilizing it and being really careful and all that.
so it's healing nicely for a week, and then my ex rips out the white one, so i have to put in the backup (pink) in, unsterilized because I was in the middle of trying to fend off an oncoming attack from him.
I cleaned it really well and soaked it with salt water obsessively after the ordeal was over...
but today i was extremely pissed off that I had to have a pink one in, because the pink one reminded me of him being an asshole and ripping it out, and the bio flex clear/white one I ordered in the mail arrived, so I thought "why not?" My piercing had already been changed twice since I got it two weeks ago, what is one more time??
but,... the bioflex was a screw not a stud, so it was extremely painful to put in... almost impossible- but I am VERY stubborn, so i sat there trying to screw it in to my bleeding painful open piercing....and finally got it.
and now....6 hours later it still hurts.
It doesn't show any signs of infection, and I heal really quick (it was almost 100 percent healed before he ripped it out) so as long as I keep soaking it in sea salt solution several times a day it should be fine right??
Is there a trick to getting those nose screws in?? it was SO hard!!!
