The more girls there are vs. customers, the more leverage the customers have.
They'll hold out for whoever gives 'em the most bang for their buck - pretty much literally.

I feel you. I tried making one of my hour deals the other night. The customer looked around at the club and said"well i doubt, that u can make that here in an hour" I looked him dead in the eye and said "honey it's the quality, not the quantity of the customer, I appreciate your concern, but do we have a deal or not, I do have other guys waiting?" He went for it. WTF, i know what I 'm capable of making slow or not. Just wait till football starts, then the ball is back in my court. Game on

I think customers will take advantage of any girl that will allow them to for a few bucks. Before the economy got bad, I once worked at a club where a girl would constantly get guys into VIP by charging only $40 or $60 instead of 3/$100. If you treat yourself like you're worth more than a few bucks, guys are likely to pay you more.
I'm all about 'the secret' shit and try to think SUPER positive and put out good vibes when I go in. I think if you come off thirsty as hell to a guy, he will pick up on it and in turn, try to get whatever he can out of you for as little as possible. I don't let money overrule my respect, so if some guy has some cash but is treating me inappropriately I will check him. And by check I mean repremand...
I think we all need to start THINKING positive, I mean, like I never notice a change in money except seasonally.
I don't know why everyone is making less money than usuall. I am aware of the economy, but all my friends and including myself have been doing the same as ever. Yeah, its not the same it was 6 years ago, but there are SOOOOOOOOOOOO many factors that go into that I'm not even gonna touch it.

Of course they are taking advantage of things. Don't let them. There were a couple of custies during my last shift, who wanted to 'strike deals' with me for dances. When the waitress came to the table, and they went to open their wallets, I saw that they had money. LOTS of it. Other dancers are most likely giving them more for less, so these guys figure they can continue to pull this shit. Once again-- DON'T LET THEM.

I thought some customers definitely tried to take advantage, and this was back in 2006 so I can't imagine what it's like now.
It unnerved me when guys would try to strike "deals" for dances, or act like you should bow down to them for placing their Almighty one dollar bill on the stage.
When I worked the day shift, I had lots of guys try to buy dances at 1/2 price or worse, and when I said no, they would look around the empty club and say, "Come on, what else are you going to do?"

^Yep. This is the kind of shit they're pulling. I repeat--DON'T LET THEM.
I hate when guys use the excuse that its not busy so you should have to strike a deal.No asswipe...my body is still my body no matter how many people are here and its worth full price at LEAST. If you want to haggle...go to the Swap Shop(the big flea market here).I dont haggle over my body. And yes...I'd rather walk with less money and my dignity...that isnt for sale.
