    Default San Francisco Low Down

So I know there's tons of posts about SF but I have extenuating circumstances that I need to consider as well. I just moved back to the East Bay...living with the folks(woo-hoo) and I want to discretely work in the city.

    Transportation & Parking:
I have my easy to steal crappy car which works well enough to get me into the city and back so transportation is covered. How does parking work in SF for dancers? Do dancers have their own little parking lot? What do those who have worked in the city recommend?

    Times & Traffic:
I know this varies but what are roughly the time periods I can expect to be working? I don't mind working day-shifts at first but I don't want to get stuck in hellish bay-bridge traffic...anyone live in the east bay and have this problem?

    Auditions & Selectiveness:
What can I expect for an audition at the topless clubs in SF?

    Additional Concerns:
My best assets are my freakishly huge natural boobs and I know some clubs prefer silicone (I had one club back east tell me they only hired girls with fake boobs )-will this be an issue for any of the clubs? I'm pale-ish, blonde, not stick-thin but not fat either, I don't have a flat stomache. Any places I should stear clear of to preserve my own self-worth?

    Thanks!

If you get onto the main section of Broadway there is a parking lot near Roaring 20's. Many of the dancers from all of the clubs park at this lot. The bouncers won't walk you to your car unless you ask or they know that they need to. On multiple times the bouncers walked me because some guy had been wanting to talk and insisted on staying after the club closed. So the force those customers out and walk you to the car. HOWEVER, if you ever think you might have problems just ask them to walk you and be sure to tip.

Traffic seems like it's always bad - so I can't give you any recommendations on that.

It use to be that you tried out for all of the Deja Vu run clubs (including Hustler) at Deja Vu, and they would put you where they thought you would fit in. I've seen all types of girls dance in SF... including girls who were 8 or 9 months pregnant. So I'm sure they will always be able to find someplace to put new hires.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
