Default Changing in front of others

I've always wondered why some girls don't openly change in front of the others. We've all seen each other naked at some point and time. It's not like turning around to change provides much privacy - maybe only in the mind.

Hundreds if not thousands of men see us naked in our stripping career so why the shyness in the dressing room? I don't understand.

    Very curious today huh, tigersmilk?!!

I've noticed this too but mostly with the new dancers. Us vets just rock out with our pussies out!

Kaiarose...you seriously are fuckin awesome with the answers...lol.

I was like that when I 1st started out. I was self conscience as hell and I always changed in the bathroom or waited until it was only one other girl or so in the DR. Now, I really don't give a shit...lol.

I could care less - I'll walk around bottom-less to the sinks...it's no big deal. If a manager walks through and I was without my thong I would probably turn around, but honestly - I am not shy.

I work topless but don't care if other dancers see me naked. I DO cover up or wait to change if a manager or bouncer is in the DR though. It is weird now that I think of it....I have no problem witth my nakedness around women, but around men that AREN'T paying for my time FORGET IT! I'm guessing this attitude stems from my view on stripping. Stripping is my job and simply that. Being naked doesn't bother me, but I'm not streaking in the moonlight on my days off. I'm actually quite modest IRL. Does that even make sense? lol

Hahaha! I freak out the new girls on a regular basis by being so comfortable in my nakedness.

I always have to take the biggest crap ever when I get to work (sorry fellow P10-ers!) so I generally go ahead and get changed in there. Sometimes I'll come out with just a thong and a shirt on and my tennis shoes, which is kindda weird. I dunno I just like multitasking when I'm in the bathroom, but people do give me weird looks and comment on me changing in there.

When I change back into my clothes I don't care who sees me. It's not like we all haven't seen vag before.

The reason im shy in the dressing room as opposed to the floor/ dance areas is because in the dressing room it is fully lit. The rest of the club is way darker. I feel really vulnerable being naked in a well lit area full of people i don't know well regardless of their sex. For me it's not about them seeing my pussy, more like the cellulite on my butt or stretch marks on my stomach in bright lighting.

hmm i dont know im still pretty new and dont feel uncomfortable. i change in front of the bouncers too, i mean theyve already seen me on stage so i see no problem with it. my first day i was kinda shy about it but then i realized no one was really paying attention to me anyway.

I'm not shy now but I have been. It's mostly due to the fact that I find changing to be more intimate than a performance. It's hard to explain but I don't care if anyone (except my family) in real life sees me strip onstage but I will let very few people see me naked when I wake up in the morning.

I am also more self-conscious around girls because they are way more judgemental and tend to compare.

I'm not shy in front of other dancers, but I will get very irritated when staff - especially male staff just pop in. The fact that they've seen me is not the damn point. The change room is a female place.

Our DJ booth has a huge window that looks directly into the changeroom. There is absolutely no privacy from male staff. Even the kitchen staff come in several times nightly to collect our glasses.

I don't notice or care at all unless it's a new club, because then EVERYONE tries to be all sneaky and look out of the corner of their eye, or just blatantly STARES at you... checking out the competition I guess? That's annoying.

Way, way back when I first started dancing, nobody was allowed in the change room except dancers; the DJs would call in, and the manager would knock and give warning before entering.

I think where I am now, they are still not technically allowed in; the floor manager guy, if he comes in, knocks briefly. Once when construction was going on one of the workers thought he had made friends with a dancer and kept wandering in, ostensibly to look for her. Of course it was me who finally said "Who are you? Do you work here? Then what are you doing in here? You can talk to your friend any time, you can't be here, get out."

^^^Wow, that is rather shocking that he thought he was welcomed!

I think the reason my club justifies the presence of male staff is that it is for the protection of the dancers, whether a customer wandered in or a bitch fight occured. But we have cameras in there and that should be sufficient IMO.

While I technically don't care about the staff seeing me nude, sometimes during my shift I just need to get away from men for a few minutes and that isn't really possible in my club unless I want to sit in a toilet stall.

I agree, the DR is not a free for all, it should be women only. The last club I worked in had the DR door wedged open all the time so all the bouncers and bar staff could see in constantly, there was absolutely no privacy. There was even a window into the office which was pretty much open all the time, one of the managers used to just stand there and stare at us, it was really fricken weird.

I'm guilty of covering up if management, a bouncer or an unfamiliar male employee walks in. Being topless during a lapdance is one thing. Being in the dressing room where I can be myself momentarily is like an invasion of what little privacy I have.

I"m very comfortable in my nakedness. I've seen girls over the years pratically hide to change! I've never understood it.

I'm even OK with management and bar staff coming in the DR. They don't make a habit out of it, on;y if need be and they do knock before coming in.

When I first started dancing I was uncomfortable changing in the dressing room cuz I was self conscious and our dressing room is TINY i mean the size a figgin hallway but now I jam out with my clam out lol that's how we roll. I did see a new girl the other night get changed in the bathroom and I was like WTF you can get nekkid on stage for strangers but you can't get naked in the dressing room with other females of the same profession. Whatever makes em feel better i guess.

I don't care at all about changing in front of others... but I do dislike when I'm at a new club and all the girls just STARE for the first few shifts I work.. it usually takes me about a month or so until I'll just walk around naked to do all the things I do in the DR. I love just sitting naked on my chair on top of my comfy blanket and counting my money and doing my makeup-- i hate wearing my outfits any longer than I have to because they're all synthetic materials and I feel like my skin is suffocating.

The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it, and above."

hehe. my club is so frigin open. we dont have any doors in the bathrooms, in order to negate drug abuse. So we see each other naked, as well as pee and take a dump and change tampons. it sounds nasty, but it actually DOES negate drug use (almost NO ONE uses drugs, out of a roster of over 70 girls) AND it helps keep the bathroom clean cause we all know who would make it dirty.

Our managers and bouncers come in frequently, which also cuts down on the drug use, and our owner always uses our bathroom, cause the men's room downstairs is messier than ours. haha. I should also mention that our dressing room is HUGE - about 2500 sq/ft. So even if they DO walk in, we hardly see them.

I noticed, though, in my experience, that the more open the girls are with nudity, the less likely they are to do drugs. My first club has a bunch of girls who were very shy, and almost all the girls were on drugs. The second club was semi-open, but the girls who changed in the bathroom also did a lot of drugs.

..now, I'm curious. Has anyone else noticed that the shier the girl, the more drugs? or is it just me?
