You found "The Girl In Gold Boots"?!?! WHERE?? We've been searching for a copy of that one for ages and we can't find it anywhere! I need to show it to K because it's absolutely the best one they ever did.

"The Screaming Skull" is my second favorite! Oh, and "Zardoz." "This is the captain speaking, we've reached our cruising altitude of 35,000 feet and the penis is evil." ROFLMAO...

I think Ava Jadore posted a thread about this not too long ago.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is one of my favorites. This Island Earth...Red Zone Cuba, The Viking Women and the Sea Serpent, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living & Became Mixed-Up Zombies. There are a few I watched recently that I can't remember the name of, one had like...cavemen from the future? And another was an ET knockoff with a little alien named Trumpy.

So...out of my Thursday night MST3K group, I'm the only one who liked Joel more than Mike. Anyone else? I like Mike too but I think Joel's cuter in a really dopey way and I love his voice.

    I LOVE MST!

One of my better regulars got me the first three collections as a christmas gift. I don't know if any of those titles are on them but htat would be farkin awesome!

Sigh. It almost makes me homesick. My dad raised us with massive sarcasm, so watching MST is like being with the family on any given night.

If you haven't seen the feature film (and it's darn near impossible to find save on VHS...I think it's on moratorium, dang it!) you MUST. It is SO funny. They do "This Island Earth" and I was ROLLING on the floor laughing.
    For example:
Martian ship covers everything and everyone in a green light.
MST robot: You will soon experience a refreshing mint flavor!

Also, since film was "rated" they were allowed to cuss...and did. It was only mild ("whoop de shit!") but still hilarious!

Man, I LOVE that show and miss it so much. Sci Fi Channel used to run it on Saturday a.m. here.

I loved that deep-voiced guy's assistant in the beginning of This Island Earth and how they always made dog whimper noises for him.

Amazon has the movie in stock! It appears to have been recently re-issued.

    They also have THIS.

I've just started Netflixing MST3K, starting with "Hobgoblins". Hilarious.
