    Default "stealing" money from customers

During a lap dance a guy was being overly touchy and trying to kiss and lick me at any oportunity despite constant warnings (i need to get over a fear of ripping off customers by leaving) until he stuck his tongue in my ear. enough warnings that's just disgusting, so i cancelled the dance and left him there.

Now, this guy was wasted and left his jacket behind, one of the other girls took it into the dressing room and asked if it was "my guy's" so we went through his wallet to look for any photos so we can make sure and found $80 cash. i told the girls about his behavour and they told me to take the money from the wallet and that they'll back me up if anyone mentioned anything. i was reluctant but it was a slow night and i needed it, and the guy pissed me off, so i took a $50 note amidst the cheers from fellow strippers for giving him his karma.

despite leaving him $30 to get home by (they told me to take it all) i still feel bad. Is it ok to take money like that?

there were also pictures of his wife in the wallet, pity he was such a douche his wife's really pretty.

Yes it is wrong to steal. Going through someone's wallet is such an invasion of his privacy. Did he pay you for the dance? He definetely owed you that if you stopped because of his bad behavior. I sometimes tell guys that there is an asshole tax, and I have told guys that were grabby and didn't listen that the dance cost 20 and not $15 on our discount nights, but I wouldn't go through a guys wallet even if he was an asshole and he forgot it. Stealing just isnt right no sireeeee.

One person's bad behaviour does not justify another's. Of course, it did not help if you had a bunch of your co-workers egging you on.

Dont be shy to end the dance early. They deserve it if they are told the rules and keep touching. FUCK them.

I wouldnt recommend doing what u did again tho.

Is this for real? You're asking if it is okay to take someone's wallet without their permission, remove the cash and then give it back? Seriously? You're asking this?

    This is a joke, right?

ETA - oh my gosh, this is a joke, isn't it? Well now I feel foolish.

What I have done in the past was forcing them to pay me extra for all that crap he just pulled and end the dance early. I wouldn't do what you did again though thats for sure.

The most I've ever done was take a few dollars when a guy reached into his pocket to buy me a drink and like $4 fell out...and I felt bad about that. But I would never, ever take a custies wallet, take his $$$ out, and give it back. And um, wouldn't you think that anyone who had their wallet taken would notice that some $$$ was missing? Even if he was drunk, people sober up and if they're smart they'll count their $$$.

    No, actually I do not.

Doing drugs in or out of the club is STILL doing drugs, hooking in or out of the club is still hooking, why is stealing in the club not the same as stealing outside of the club in your opinion?

I wouldn't feel bad about it. When someone goes into our environment with the mindset that they are not going to respect the rules and our personal boundaries, and treat us like we're just a piece of meat with no feelings...they deserve to get fucked.

    I would have done it.

To clarify, I would say it's stealing. But it's not the worst case of stealing. I'd say it's somewhat justified.

Big deal. Some sexually abusive asshole lost $50. Nothing to feel bad about.

I'd say it's absolutely stealing, but I would also say there's nothing morally wrong with stealing from someone who was abusive to you and who can afford to lose the money.

Now, I wouldn't do it because the only time I shoplifted I got a heavy karmic hit for it, but not everyone has the same path as me.

I feel it was wrong. I think you also know it was wrong.

If you know you are going to feel bad about doing something then try not to do it.

I get you're fine with it, I just think it's weird that you justify it by saying "I wouldn't do it in "real life" '

Yeah, it's stealing, and yeah, it's wrong, but on a bad enough night I might've done the same thing. I think we've all been there. This is why men need to learn to play nice with the dancing girls.
