i use lengthening macara and want to try thickening, should one be applied before the other?
i use lash exact from cover girl, i really like it so hopefully their thickening mascara is good too.

Lengthening then voumizing.
thanks! never used two kinds so was not sure.
Hmm. I would've gone thick then long? Could be just my mostly weird slightly crappy lashes though...?
The lengthening mascara works by attaching monofilaments to the tips of your lashes and mine aren't exactly up to code as it is![]()

I've also tried it to and it was nothing but a clump of mess. Usually if I want my lashes to look super thick, I'll use false lashes then apply my mascara...I use covergirl too.
well i tried the thickening then the lengthening and it didnt turn out anything short of....indifferent. so ill try it the otherway next time.
When I was taking my makeup courses, the instructor said that if you use the volumizing then the lengthening, the ends of the lashes would just get weird and clumpy since the mascara is attaching to the other mascara and not lashes. Try curling your lashes, applying one mascara, combing out the lashes with a clean mascara brush or eyelash comb, then applying the other mascara. That should help to alleviate any clumpiness.
Have you ever tried eyelash extensions? So fun!

Just use DiorShow Blackout, from Sephoras. THE BEST you'll have volume, length and the prettiest darkest black
for some reason, spending a lot on mascara doesnt seem right....talk me into it more. haha.
