Default What dya think of this article?

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/perso...ef=mpstoryview

I'm somewhat split over the article. One: Good thing these girls aren't doing it in my club, Two: but, DAMNIT, it's also causing the custies to steer clear of the clubs, if they can easily get sex for gasoline!

Just curious as to everyone's opinions!

Well, its prostitution...I mean, I work with girls who do things like that, and its their own business. I don't like the fact that custies don't come to the club anymore because its taking away from our $$$, but hey, what can we do you know?

I read the article, and it sounds like basic prostitution. Instead of money, it's gifts or services...pretty cut and dried.

Me thinks the tit-for-tat method has been in use for decades. Someone just decided to write an article on it. Women can use their body for whatever they feel the need to use it for- money, gas, clothes, etc.
I don't think their are a surplus of women who wouldn't do it before but are doing it now because gas prices are up, but I'm not a man so I wouldn't know for sure.

The most outrageous item is that comment about a $200 Louis Vuitton bag, I don't believe that item exists- the little change purses cost more than that.

    Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time.

    Those comments PISSED me off!

Face it people, we are ALL whores; it's just figuring out your price is all, lol.

Seriously, who wouldn't have sex with your "Hollywood" dream star if they were giving you 10 million dollars, TAX free cash under the table for one night of wild fun filled danger free sex?

I think a lot of women who have sex with their "Hollywood dream star" for free - therefore taking prostitution out of the equation. No?

I agree with Kitana. We are all prostitutes. Any time we sleep with a guy, we get something out of it. Or we should (you'd have to be really dumb not to). Even if it's getting that guy to share in the child-rearing responsibilities. I don't think prostitution for cold hard cash is any worse than prostitution for other goods and services.

i wish i had as easy a time getting paid in the strip club as i have outside of it getting offered shoes, bags, nice meals, drugs...

every girls i know who does that sort of stuff does it often. a lot of them don't use condoms either. therefore, there's no way i'd be willing to even touch a guy who'd ask.

It's definitely not uncommon for a couple on the rocks to be in a situation where, say, the woman is withholding sex to punish the man for not helping around the house.

Nothing in life is free, and this is nothing new.

I don't think I really consider it prostitution because in most cases it's not really arranged that way. For example with the amazon trip thing, I don't think she ever said "be my tour guide and I'll fuck you silly". I think they just both knew what they wanted.

Every job out there requires whoring in some form or another. Working pretty much everywhere, you exhange your helpfulness (and sometimes your sanity and dignity) to receive a paycheck. That's why stripping has never bothered me. I'm just selling something I own (granted, sexy hustling is a renewable resource) in order to benefit my wallet. It's what I've done working retail, only now I'm the product.

Seriously. Whooooah, newsflash, women sometimes trade sex for goods and services. Oh, my god, what a shock, someone stop the presses and chisel this into the cave wall!

    Such trades aren't so unusual.
So why are they writing an article over it??

Exactly! Couldn't have said it better myself.
