Default Why Do Dancers Want Patrons To Touch Them?

You'll be sitting there at the tip rail, minding your own business and admiring the view, when the dancer forcefully takes your wrists, and places your hands all over her body in a "guided tour", without any initiative or use or your own muscles. What's up with that?

(Although this post is a bit tongue-in-cheek, the scenario is not; it's now the standard STL stage show).

i've never seen this happen at any of the 5 clubs i've worked at... and one of those clubs was very high contact.

but obviously the answer it "to increase potential sales".

See my thread on "entire clubs where girls regularly sell themselves short."

I will never understand girls who do stage shows like that. Why do they give so much away for a freaking dollar??!!

But what if you can sense the guy doesn't really want to buy, and he's just giving money because he feels "obligated"? Are you worried about the guy's feelings? Do you feel uncomfortable taking money from someone who really doesn't want to give it, deep down in his heart?

At one club that I've been to but don't work at I've seen girls doing something similiar to what you're describing; although a dancer wouldn't actually put a customer's hands all over her body she would guide them in a way that made it look like he was touching her, when in fact he wasn't. Maybe that's what you noticed?

I would say that most guys that come into clubs don't want to have to pay for services such as dances and time spent talking to a dancer, yet they do it over and over again I'm sure most of them do feel obligated to spend, so therefore they do. It's a strip club - that's how it works. I'm sure that going into a strip club and being able to ogle pretty naked girls and not have to spend a dime is every PL's best fantasy, but it's just not going to happen.

For the record, I never feel bad taking money from a customer that might not want to spend it, "deep down in his heart." In fact, I ask for even more!

Uh no.....I haven't just "noticed" it. It's the real deal.

No, I haven't posted in the other thread yet.

If the dancers are actually letting the customers touch them during stage shows, and this is the norm, I'm really curious as to what state this club is in. And if this is indeed the norm in this particular club, then the dancer's aren't necessarily "wanting" the customers to touch them but are doing it because all the other dancers are, they don't want to seem "prude."

    Do you overanalyze EVERYTHING?!

I'd hate to see you at breakfast time. Why are these eggs poached? Do they like being poached? How does that effect their taste? If an egg were to decide to be scrambled, did it do so to taste better? Now.. the toast... why is the toast light brown? Does the toast even like the eggs? What if the eggs touch the toast? What if the toast touches the eggs? Do the eggs like it?

    ^ FOR REAL.

    my god.

also - why do dancers do extras? i mean, i make more money than them. so.. why do they do it? and why did she decide to wear her red bikini that day instead of the black one? i mean, she would've probably gotten to suck dick instead of just jerking them off if she had dressed differently. and purple.. sheesh.. she could've gotten licked HERSELF then!

    Letting?

    Directing.

And you'll have to wonder what state the entire St. Louis market is in then -- all the clubs are like this, from the national chains (the 4 local PT's locations), to the biggest neon club in the area (Hollywood), all the way down to the little holes in the wall.

    Everybody.

Stating the obvious - this could be one of those situations where the facts are not perfectly interchangeable.

I take you tongue in cheekness - but really even as a joke it is kind of banal.

Actually, economically speaking, it's EXACTLY interchangeable. Each party has something they would probably, on the whole, rather keep (money; a body untouched by strangers), but are willing to trade it for its equal worth on the other side of the transaction (touching an attractive girl; money). This is an equation of equality, where "feelings" aren't part of EITHER side's calculation. And thus is the point of the thread......

And speaking of banal, what could be more banal than "why would you want to touch a hot stripper?" Though I answered it fully and honestly, I could have just as easily answered it with one word, "Duhhhh......"

That's actually not a correct model and it doesn't exactly map on to your alternative in which men are in fact paying to touch a woman but evidently don't really want to?
And I think what she was asking was more akin to "why do customers enjoy sexually touching women who probably don't enjoy it?" In any case - we're not running a competition in banality here. You don't have to make a stupid thread because someone else has (in your opinion - I think your thread was fine).

Nah, I don't think the other thread was stupid, as you could see from my participation in it. But, I do think the question you point out, "why would you enjoy touching someone who doesn't really want you to", really makes no more sense than its counterpoint, "why would you enjoy taking someone's money who doesn't really want you to?" About the same.

It's nothing like the same thing. One is money and one is, in theory, a shared sexual experience. Those two things have absolutely nothing in common. The fact that one is exchanged for another does not make them equal or the same.

If feelings aren't part of the equation, then why were you so concerned about whether a dancer would feel bad about making a customer feel obligated to spend money?

Never seen it, wouldn't do it. I don't make a huge deal out if it if somebody touches my hair or foot or something but really the less you touch me the happier we both are.

Because I totally posted this in response to just your one fake question. Ignore the 1950039475 fucking serious questions you've asked that are SO freaking particular it looks like you're trying to shove a stripper under a microscrope and write us off as a science project.

    LMAO.

So u went to a club and saw this and now you ask "why do dancers want patrons to touch them?". Your use of generalisations is exhausting.

    Answer:
Coz customers are all so hot and sexy that we want your hands all over us as much as possible. dont worry about paying, I'll pay you coz the pleasure is all mine.
