I have heard this term thrown around a lot. I just wanted to get everyones take on it. What comes to your mind when someone says "She is just a lazy stripper"?

a stripper that doesn't go to work when she really really should.-![]()
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?
LOL. Coming in tonight? But yeah, I totally agree. Getting there is half the battle.

I want to, but the couch has been winning lately....

I could be the definition of a lazy stripper. There was always one club that I would work at because it was stage only, no hustling except for tips after we danced and we could just hang out with customers all night and drink and still make our money. It was great when I was in school because this would be my main club (I would work at other clubs every so often to make extra money) and it wasn't stressful.
A lazy stripper to me is one who just stands and walks around the stage barely moving instead of dancing and putting on a good show. She also spends more time drinking at the bar or hanging out in the dressing room tan she does hustling for dances. And of course at the end of the shift she is bitching about not having made enough cash.

A girl does one or a combo of the following:
-stays in the DR all night
-sits at the bar all night
-cares more about getting drinks than dances

Someone who doesn't even come close to reaching their financial potential.

i think it can mean to include a stripper that doesn't take care of herself as far as grooming too. like she doesn't do her hair, her nails look like shit, beat up shoes, etc.
Someone who sits in the dressing room smoking and bitching all night. Relying only on stage to make money and then doing only the minimum amount of work while you're up there. Never making even the slightest attempt at looking happy or pleasant. Actually TURNING DOWN dances and rooms because you don't "feel like dealing with the guys". Spending more time all over the bouncers and DJ than hustling customers.
Yes, there is actually a girl in my club that does all of the above every night she works. I doubt she even breaks a hundred dollars a shift.

A dancer who waits until rent is due, before she gets her ass to work.

I didn't read the rest of the replies, but to answer OP's question, a lazy stripper is someone who:
Hangs out in the dressing room all day.
Doesn't have any regulars (or hardly any regulars)
Is a hater - feels jealous and resentful of dancers who are making money
Doesn't bother asking for dances
Has a holier than thou attitude such as "I don't dance for the money - I'm just doing this for fun" or "None of these customers are worth dancing for so I'm not even going to attempt to talk to them because they are all losers" or "I shouldn't even have to get naked for this" etc.
Goes home will less than $100 on a regular basis while the other girls are making MUCH MUCH more
Doesn't bother hustling for drinks
Never asks for tips
Never goes to work
Doesn't take care of her apperance (comes into work with dirty clothes, dirty hair, BO, no makeup, etc.)
Only makes enough to get by and never saves any money
Primarily uses the "wanna dance" hustle and never tries to improve her sales skills
Scoffs at the idea of StripperWeb

I think it only does if you're a house girl at the same club for a long time. Obviously if you travel or work in an area with high customer turnover or lots of tourists, you can stay busy all the time without having a single regular.
A lazy stripper a) doesn't work or b) doesn't work when she's at work.

me on Sunday shifts![]()

No, no and no. Since when does having a different hustle == being lazy?
A lot of girls do not WANT regulars--seeing them as more trouble than they're worth and a source of drama, or feeling mentally and emotionally drained by putting so much of our energy and ourselves into a few guys. Giving contact information to a customer is beyond my personal boundaries. I want to leave work at work and not have it spill into my personal life by having regular customers calling, texting or emailing me, even if it's just "when are you working next?". This does not make me lazy.
I lap-hop and mostly use one line "wannadance" hustles, and if I'm a high earner, why on earth would I change? I've tried switching it up and hustling differently (i.e. more conversation and "sales skills") and my money dropped off a cliff, so I'll stick to what works for me-- even though some person on the internet thinks it makes me "lazy". Yeah, it's really lazy to work nonstop going from lap to lap to lap all night hustling every guy in the club and selling long strings of dances to almost everyone.
No matter what kind of approach you use or what style you have-- if you're making consistently good money (without extras), you're not lazy.

That's my definition as well, and very succinctly put. Lazy-Stripper just strips when she must to get by, not to get ahead. And in the club she passively takes whatever comes her way, as opposed to actively hunting for her cash. Sad really, they just don't realize or don't care that in this biz one's days are inherently numbered- pity the girls that won't capitalize on the opportunity for all it's worth while they can.

A dancer who does half assed lap dances coz it hurts her legs LOL.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
