    Default the dollar hustle?

does anyone do this? it's going around trying to sell dances when the club is packed and in the "wanna dance" mode and asking for a dollar tip if rejected? have you done this? would you do this? why or why not? if one hundred men enter the club during the shift it can amount to one hundred dollars minimum. i'm thinking about trying this but don't wanna seem desperate.

Lol, I've actually been thinking about doing this for years. I don't think I have the balls to do it though. The only time I ever just ask random people for a couple dollars is when I have like 18 ones and I'm trying to cash them in for a twenty.

i wouldn't recommend it when the club is packed, because when it is i'm continuously doing dances and CRs, and not wasting my time collecting dollars. When its slower however, i might stoop to picking up a dollar or two, but then again when its slower i actually grace the customers with a couple of sentences instead of just wanna dancing, so i have time to collect the dollars

i would feel pathetic asking people for dollars. so no.

except the times the owner makes us do the 30 second dollar dances but usually people pay more and by the time you are done you have like 50 bucks or so.

well you don't ask them for a dollar(cause that would be pathetic), you ask them for a tip, or wiggle your shoulders and pull out the garter, if its slow, why not

^that sounds good. this sounds like a good opportunity to use the "feed the kitty" line. kinda like asking for a dollar without using those words.

if its slow, i cant see you getting much anyway. id rather waste my time with a chance of getting a dance or a vip room.

    whatever works though.

I don't do this because I get denied tips after DANCING for customers I can't imagine them wanting to tip me for asking for a dance.

But I have seen a girl at my club do this and she gets tipped almost everytime. And she doesnt even act happy or exude sexiness. In fact she usually seems angry.
    Her "wanna dance?"
    Custy"No"
Her "Do you have a tip for me?" *Pull side of bottoms out*
She's kinda intimidating too...I think thats why she always gets tipped. They're afraid of her LOLZ.

I don't think I'd do it. Sometimes after being rejected they offer a couple bucks or a drink or whatever anyway, and that's nice, but I'm not going to ask for it.

yeah, the girl at my club who does this gives off the bully vibe but i really don't know her. at my last club, this one girl had no shame yelling across the club "can i have a dollar for the game baby" now THAT is beyond tacky

I worked at a club for a week where we would get "tickets" to sell for $1 each and then there would be a draw for a table dance. I ALWAYS asked for a dance first and they usually said yes. When they didn't, I'd ask if they would like some tickets. I probably made an extra $40/day doing this but they were used to being asked to buy tickets. I found it a little annoying as we Canadians have no bills smallers than $5 and so I had a purse full of loonies, toonies, and QUARTERS (yes, quarters). At the end of the week, I just stopped selling them.

Happgiggles, I think the only way for you to find out is to try. Get some cute one-liners and give it a shot, one night.

I would also feel really pathetic doing that. I'm not there to beg. If you say no to a dance, I'm not gonna stand there and ask for a tip.....sounds ridiculous.

A lot of girls feel pathetic about asking for dances. I don't think hustling is supposed to be what makes us feel good, but about what makes us money. It's not something I would personally do but if I knew I could make money doing it, I would suck up my pride and do it. That`s what I did at the club where I sold $1 tickets.

But guys come to the club expecting to be asked to buy a dance. They don't expect to turn down a dancer, and then have her stand there and still ask for $$$. This hustle idea just defies logic (for me at least). To each their own I suppose...

^^^Yeah, that is why I meant I would do it only if the money is there. If the guys at your club are not used to it, there is probably no point. If you worked at a club where this was common and a good way to make money and still didn't do it because of your pride, I would find that a little weird. But you're right, to each their own

some guys do come to the club just to tip. mainly young guys and they are the ones who frequent my club. they're the "why pay some girl to be in my lap when i can fuck for free" type. it all depends on the club i guess. i wish i could be someplace where you are where the most of the customers will buy dances.

She used to get pissed and tell them they wasted her time so she deserves something for that.
I don't think people thought she was pathetic...more like a hot bully.
see, and that's the line i don't wanna cross. i gotta figure out ways to ask without demanding that they give it to me or making them feel obligated.

It was standard at my old club to get off of your stage set and go around to collect tips. Hell, we would do it the whole time were weren't on stage. Lap dances weren't a big thing there though. I'm not sure if many of you girls know this but in black clubs, a lot of guys will tip you (multiple dollars) just for walking past them. If you stop and talk and do a little wiggle, you get even more. I would be able to do one lap around the club floor and have both my garters filled as well as any where else in my outfit money could be tucked into. We looked like trees walking around that club.

My advice is just walk around and be cute and talk to everybody, it always worked for me. If the guy doesn't tip immediately, I always asked, "Are you tipping tonight baby?". They either said "Of course" and got busy tipping or they said "no" and I walked away.

i'd also like to add that in some cities/clubs, its almost a tradition, where other places they look at you like you have two heads -

i know right? i know some people don't ask for tips after dances either which is also totally ridiculous. IMO i go to work to bleed the most money possible from those f*ckers, so i will go after every last dollar they have

haha, money trees. Slightly off topic, but I'm curious to try working in a black club, just for a change. But I'm white, so I'm afraid people would just look at me like "wtf?"

Um, that and I'd probably get fired for starting an orgy in the DR, cause I have a little thing for black women.
