There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

No, life isn't worth living. It's to be taken, and beaten, and wrestled, and formed in your image. That's where the meaning lies: in what you can twist life into. For those who just endure life, yeah, it is a very nasty joke. But for those who bend it with their will, the joke is on those who get in the way. -Kevin Smith as Ares
It's a man's world. Not because it should be, but because we let them have it. -Terreis
Smile, knowing your ambition far exceeded your talent. -Blow

Well, I'm not sure if my body was its best then, but I was working out a lot more. My stomach is flatter now and I'm a bit thinner these days, but I was more tan and toned a couple years back. Need to get *that* part back, but I've never been at what I consider my 'ideal'. I endeavour though!
This photo is probably cheating because it's not very clear. I have some photos up on SG but I was much less toned then. This is a photograph my friend took of me when I'd been dancing for about 4 months and was 21, so good times all around.![]()
HERE'S ME NOW......(and I wanna lose about 20 more pounds)

"If she wants to dance and drink all night, well there's no one that can stop her. She's going til the house lights come up or her stomach spills onto the floor. This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over, worked all week long, and now the music is playing on our time. Yeah we do what we do to get by, and then we need a release!" - Against Me!, "Thrash Unreal"

This thread is giving me a major depression. You gals are so hot. And to think some of you have given birth... Wow.

This is when I was most proud of my figure, not too skinny, but not an ounce of bad fat. I was surfing nearly everyday. I miss Florida.

This is me almost a year ago at a pole dance contest. I loved that way I was then. Not that I don't know, I just have pretty much no endurance anymore lol. I love curve. I don't think stick figures are attractive, give me some curves in there.![]()
Ok this thread makes me wanna get off my ass and lose this extra weight.
I took this pic last night. Is grainy, I've got a built-in webcam in my macbook : ( Oh and you can see my c-section scar i got from earlier this year. Ugh.
